  1. Its not a programmable option on the smaller panels
  2. You could use port forwards but I recommend vlans or vpns. Ideally use something like a draytek router and link all sites together via vpn. Alternatively you could look at smoothwall units or openvpn This is a IT solution as I wouldn't recommend passing security information over your wan with out strong encrytion.
  3. Any of the premiers could do that but u will need a few modules. Have a look at the Honeywell flex this will do as you need and has app support. I wouldn't recommend sms alerts unless using a gsm module.
  4. The active beams come with pole mount brackets so you can concrete in the pole and attach. No you cannot get mirrors designed for the purpose, while the theory is sound it would be a difficult to setup and maintain.
  5. Id advise a siemens eline dt in that situation. Its the best pet sensor I've personally tested. But the only 200% way is to use perimeter protection, ie vibs and contacts
  6. You shouldn't have more than one device per circuit. Eol Is only more secure if the cable is attacked.
  7. Could be but id be surprised. First I check day mode current Dc supply voltage at the detectors And ac ripple on the cabling What do you have connected to the panel? If you could post the readings above please
  8. As you have rasied a ticket it will be discussed here to. But as i dont have that info just yet was it all ordered together or are you adding older kit to new gear?
  9. Vibs will be fine but you need to factor in the reduced real detection area on plastic. As with all perimiter protection has the same same fa causes. If fitted incorrectly. Most common on plastic doors and windows is to have too few units covering a too large an area
  10. The hkc system I similar to id and will work on the cabling in place, probably. The castle id modules are no longer available.
  11. Yes you will need to remove the shock detector then commission the pir in its place
  12. 1 yes you are correct you only need links on unused inputs 2 the alarm will sound when you power it up ie when the mains is connected 3 yes that is for the optima
  13. Have you tested your battery isn't reversed charged? Also if you remove all 12v out on the panel does it still blow?
  14. If you add the portal you can use the circuits. You only need a Rio for hard wired. You can use upto 20 circuits of either type in total
  15. When you say interaction do you mean by app or by sms commands?
  16. yeah thats fine. But on small runs with low device count you wont need the 680 ohm end of line resistor. Id wire as you have drawn but leave link 1 in and dont fit the eol resistors.
  17. If you have a g2-12 no. If you have a g2-20 yes. But the number after the 2 (ie 12,20 or 44) denotes max circuits
  18. Id agree i would suggest we RMA the reciever and arrange to swap it.
