  1. Siemens magic has a flush mount option.
  2. A single zone switcher https://www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/voltek-single-zone-control-unit-1803-p-1535.html
  3. Use an Elmdene 1a 12v unit but add a battery. If its only for the beam a 1.2 A/h will be fine
  4. The old modules are obsolete and without a picture its difficult to be 100% certain of what you have But this is what i think you need https://www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/videx-8000-series-amplifier-module-1-button-p-3247.html
  5. it can be configured via the web server, but siemens / vanderbilt stuff isnt budget gear. You might be under but good pro gear isnt cheap obviously
  6. The siemens vanderbilt spc can do all that. It utilises IP cameras (ethernet/wifi) so you can get live views and snapshots of alarm images. Then use an NVR or NAS drive for storage. There are registered installer options such as the hkc that use wireless PIR cameras etc.
  7. The panel has 8 zones has built in ethernet for web access and apps etc https://www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/siemens-spc4320320-kit-grade-2-p-3695.html Voltek external PIR https://www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/voltek-single-head-external-sensor-1804-p-1529.html single zone controller (add as required) https://www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/voltek-single-zone-control-unit-1803-p-1535.html command centre if needed https://www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/voltek-tzx-command-centre-1819-p-1539.html GJD PIR https://www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/gjd-mini-opal-external-pir-p-1959.html switcher https://www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/gjd-gjd040-4-zone-expansion-unit-p-2119.html controller https://www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/gjd-dygizone-digital-4-zone-lighting-controller-in-white-p-2674.html
  8. Yes as above the units are not compatible
  9. The alarm side id look at the siemens spc range as its the most flexible and supports x10 home automation. On the lighting side id look at the voltek or gjd units and possible integrate them into the spc control panel
  10. Stuart, its a forum. If you want to link to ur ebay link then fine.
  11. Yes id go with the large mag knight multi
  12. Direct wiring do you mean built in eol? I wouldn't recommend any flush contact at that gap on a steel door. The magnets cant be big enough
  13. It will be an accenta sl?
  14. It could be the cable, the handset or the module. Have you tested all the cables are in tact
  15. Yes have a look at the takex active beam detectors
  16. You can use a wired sounder on that panel. In fact I don't think they male a wireless one.
  17. no the g3 and the dimension are different pcb's. Ive never tried flashing dimension firmware onto a g3.
  18. If its just a low battery it wont be going off outside
  19. Use the siemens grade 2 dualtec. Is it an accenta mini? Screened will help yes.
  20. The 6v battery is wrong and I don't think the dimension tamper will fit a flex, but is required for grade 3 only. Wireless is currently grade 2. There isn't a compatible wireless sounder.
  21. You can ip cameras to the Siemens Vanderbilt panel. But you will still need an nvr.
  22. A picture would confirm it. Are you sure its the Pir not the switcher?
  23. Not that I know of, you will need to add a double pole relay
  24. Similar but no there are some differences.
  25. Just change the dip switches on the head.
