I don't know of a dvr that does. Most units require activex or apple safari plugins for browser use or use windows applications. You may be able to use WINE on Ubuntu but it isn't supported

The kit is an off the shelf kit from visonic not something we build as a kit like other options

You need a duct grade cable or swa if burying.

The red led is the activation (ie relay) indicator and the yellow is the microwave. All indicators should be off when there is no movement

I'd soak test the sensors and cover them over to rule out something in the room. Are they still alarming?

we cant discuss defaulting in the open forum. I doubt they are related, are they normal alarm events or tampers, missing etc.
