  1. What do you mean by 2 wire?
  2. Disconnect everything and connect a known keypad on a short wire from the panel. Prove those 2 items work and add things. Keep testing as you add, then you will find the first failing item
  3. Thanks for your question, I'd advise you get an installer. Ask your questions of your provider.
  4. Id is obsolete. If there are still Texecom id expanders available then you could use one of them.
  5. The gs610 need to be connected to an analyser, or a panel Tha has analysed circuits
  6. I only know of the hkc id system. Or if still available the Texecom id expander.
  7. I would suggest you have a cable problem. The zone lights will not illuminate when unset. You need to use a meter to test the wire and the device.
  8. What reading do you get across the circuit when the door is closed?
  9. Its not recommended I would always advise a hybrid panel in these situations but you could use a standalone universal transmitter and reciever.
  10. Assuming its not a grade 3 system as the mask has to be reported seperatly to comply.
  11. They dont need to be on a honeywell panel. The reset will mean powering it down so it gets the new settings on power up. Yes no reason at all
  12. the ts700 used the older 7seg networker keypads. They are no longer manufactured. Speak to your installer about a panel upgrade.
  13. If its less than 50m then 6 core will be fine
  14. wow they are old units. Its probably your switcher, relay failed. Still available to swap. test by putting the ibx in manual overide. If no 240v output on the light side then thats ur issue
  15. No you would need a control panel and an rf smoke detector. I don't know of one with just a slave sounder as it would need to poll etc to prove the integrity of the wireless link
  16. Siemens magic has a flush mount option.
  17. A single zone switcher https://www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/voltek-single-zone-control-unit-1803-p-1535.html
  18. Use an Elmdene 1a 12v unit but add a battery. If its only for the beam a 1.2 A/h will be fine
  19. The old modules are obsolete and without a picture its difficult to be 100% certain of what you have But this is what i think you need https://www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/videx-8000-series-amplifier-module-1-button-p-3247.html
  20. it can be configured via the web server, but siemens / vanderbilt stuff isnt budget gear. You might be under but good pro gear isnt cheap obviously
  21. The siemens vanderbilt spc can do all that. It utilises IP cameras (ethernet/wifi) so you can get live views and snapshots of alarm images. Then use an NVR or NAS drive for storage. There are registered installer options such as the hkc that use wireless PIR cameras etc.
  22. The panel has 8 zones has built in ethernet for web access and apps etc https://www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/siemens-spc4320320-kit-grade-2-p-3695.html Voltek external PIR https://www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/voltek-single-head-external-sensor-1804-p-1529.html single zone controller (add as required) https://www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/voltek-single-zone-control-unit-1803-p-1535.html command centre if needed https://www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/voltek-tzx-command-centre-1819-p-1539.html GJD PIR https://www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/gjd-mini-opal-external-pir-p-1959.html switcher https://www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/gjd-gjd040-4-zone-expansion-unit-p-2119.html controller https://www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/gjd-dygizone-digital-4-zone-lighting-controller-in-white-p-2674.html
  23. Yes as above the units are not compatible
  24. The alarm side id look at the siemens spc range as its the most flexible and supports x10 home automation. On the lighting side id look at the voltek or gjd units and possible integrate them into the spc control panel
