  3. Another project. Id assume the protocol for scantronic panels would be similar
  4. Imsorry ive never attempted anything like that. This project may help 2 Bus interface (line driver) hardware · AndySymons/KELLY-Scantronic-994x-Keypad Wiki · GitHub
  5. Ok id assume thats a power issue or cabling. Would need more info though
  6. This will convert the detectors single NC relay contacts to 2 sets of Form C relay connections. If tamper is required that can be wired the same or just use the tamper on the alarm panel
  7. Yes you can do this with something like Pyronix Standalone Receiver Enforcer Series Two-Way Radio [UR2-WE] - £59.06 : , Best Price Promise But id strongly recommend upgrading the control panel to a Hybrid unit to pick up the existing hard wired detectors and add your rf one
  8. The cp8l had 8 zones and lcd keypad. Assuming you dont want apps etc then Eaton Wired Intruder Alarm Panel Kit [I-ON10-K] - £89.38 : , Best Price Promise
  9. what you have there is a standard contact where the installer has added the resistors they are 1K 1K ie Knight D20 5 Terminal Surface Contact [D20] - £1.14 : , Best Price Promise so you can replace the contact and re add the resistors or if you use a d75 it has jumpers to select the resistors Knight D75 Surface Contact with Selectable Resistors Knight D75 Surface Door Contact with Selectable resistors [D75MULTI] - £3.50 : , Best Price Promise
  10. Best thing to do is post photos of the transmitters and recievers The red light shows the device is activating, there will be a set of alarm contacts. these maybe C NO NC or just C and NC depending on age. This will only be on the recievers. Use a multimeter to confirm the contacts are changing states correctly
  11. Knight Grade 2 Shock and Surface / Tilt Sensor [SEISMO] - £18.69 : , Best Price Promise is a suitable shock sensor Elmdene 12V DC 1A PSU [G13801N-A] - £23.66 : , Best Price Promise 12v 1A power supply Enersys 12v 3.4Ah Battery [Enersys12v3.4] - £11.47 : , Best Price Promise battery Interface Solutions 12 volt Polarised Relay [IS12] - £8.50 : , Best Price Promise relay to provide 2 sets of volt free contacts from the detector. Without knowing exactly what your wanting to achieve the above would function, but probably better to connect the shock sensor to its own intruder panel and link the output of the panel to the BMS
  12. A suitable shock sensor is
  13. A pro IP camera could do this but wifi based camera are not usually pro level. This would enable an app on a phone with smart push notifications.
  14. If you r panel has a built in ethernet port you can connect it to the router. Then setup the app and or signalling etc
  15. No you will need to replace the panel. The Optima accenta range is long obsolete
  16. Optex and take make the best or beams imo Panel wise it depends on the features you need?
  17. yes or Eaton M12 multi sensor smoke and heat detector
  18. That detector requires an analysed circuit on the panel (some panels support this) or an analyser. Alternativly is a conventional circuit use Knight Grade 2 Shock and Surface / Tilt Sensor [SEISMO]
  19. yes probably, what sensor are you replacing and in what environment?
  20. Texecom Connect App – Free to Download The Texecom Connect app is free to install and use. However, to unlock its full functionality, your alarm system must be compatible and properly configured. For remote access and control, a Texecom SmartCom or SmartCom 4G module may be required, depending on your setup. Texecom Connect
  21. Generally a beeping texecom alarm is caused by 2 things. Chime is enabled and it is beeping when a circuit activates or it has a fault. Texecom Turn Chime Off Press the musical note button on the keypad. The chime will be disabled immediately. To set up chime zones: Enter your 4-digit user code. Press MENU, then press TICK to confirm. Scroll through the menu and select Edit Chime Zones. Press TICK. Browse the zone list and highlight the zone you want to enable. Press X to toggle. The zone status will change from Silent to Chime. Press MENU, then RESET to save and exit. Diagnose A Texecom System Fault If it’s a system fault that’s causing the beeping, your keypad will show a fault message. The beep will continue until the fault is fixed. Make a note of the fault displayed, this can also be retrieved from the texecom panel log Try entering your 4 digit code, then RESET. For further assistance create a new topic in the support forum listing the equipment type and fault reported.
  22. The default user code for texecom systems is '4321' but it may have been changed.
  23. Due to the chnage of elevation (ie top and bottom of stairs your really going to need 2 sensors. A corridor sensor on a bracket may work well but isnt designed to angled that way. Also bear in mind the link you provided is a intruder alarm sensor not for switching 240v. It could be connected to a relay and suitable power source though. If doing that id recommend a voltek system as they provide adjustable low voltage sensors and it will be easier to run a low voltage alarm cable to the sensors from where the current switching is taking place. Voltek single head adjutable PIR
  24. Yes images would be useful to get a better understanding. ALso a drawing where you want detector coverage? You can upload them here
