Hi all I received my exchange from yourselves and today installed the new unit. The keypads now turns on unlike before. Just to recap i have connected to the system 3 x Pir`s and 1 door contact. 1 x 16ohm external speaker connected to the system 1 x Keypad connected to the system. 1 x Lan card connected. I turned the system on for the first time there were no sounds and the keypad behaved as expected. The Keypad states Euro 46 but not Euro 46 V10 like in the manual also the time and date adjusted itself, i assume this is because the Lan card is installed and had connection to the internet? Hi all, purchased this from security warehouse last year and just got round to installing it. I have wired up all sensors - 3 Pir`s and 1 door contact. I have an 16ohm external speaker connected to the system I have 1 Keypad connected to the system. 1 have one Lan card connected. I turned it on for the first time and i hear a time which confirms it has been turned on. I expect the keypad to light up but there is nothing from the keypad. The keypad does not light up. I have read if i hold down the D key it allows you to select the address and there is no response from either the one supplied with the system or the flush keypad i purchase addition…

i have paired my deltabell external sounder (see previous posts)problem i have now is whenever i enter my alarm code - the external sounder goes?when i do enter the codeit does bring up a message on the displayTesting....and then the standard now arming message...there is no alert about the external deltabell being triggered on the display panel and re entering the alarm code does not turn it off either. i have to access engineer menu and and exit and then it says 'saving nvm data' and it turns offproblem i have is i cannot set the alarm in either of my zones without the external sounder immediately going off?any advice on how i can fix this please?

Hi there, I have just moved to a new house with an old Sterling 10 alarm system with 2 PIRs, it works but the keypad is very worn and I have no idea how to program it. I was thinking of getting the Euro mini keypad to replace just the keypad, see attached image with wiring. Will this work?

hey guys i have done a reset of my alarm system (had front door changed which affected tamper on door and i made the mistake of resetting entire system) so i am at step one and i am struggling to configure how it was before. i will try my best to give as much detail as possible. I have installed a Powermaster 33 along with a KP 250 Keypad. After months of no problems, the keypad display is now showing "No Communication" whenever any button is pressed. There is therefore no possibility of entering Installer Mode etc.. Is it likely that the communication failure is due to the keypad, the module inside the Powermaster control box or is it possible to reset the comms between the keypad and controller somehow? I would appreciate any help in resolving this matter. Thanks in advance.

i can't find anywhere in the settings for the display to stay on? i went to screen display and everything is selected YES after a while it times out until i press the keypad... can anyone help thanks

I'm looking to update a wired system, new control unit and 6 PIR, (the existing door contacts and panics will be unchanged) any suggestions on most reliable and simplest models. It seems Texecom and Pyronix are the most reliable but which models and which PIR's for domestic use bells only with 2 Zones and approx 14 items on it??

Can anyone please advise? i have checked manual/interface its daunting i just need to know the basics please, everything is already in place - but .i changed my front door and the door sensor caused an issue/tamper and the alarm wouldnt set, and i made the mistake of resetting the device so i have lost all the devices from the memory thanks

Hi all, I have recently purchased a scantronic 9651 control panel from this site Iv'e also purchased honey-well pet friendly PIR's. I've managed to work out how to wire the bell-box and 9941 key pads but can some one help me with an idiots guide to wiring the PIR's and front door magnet. because I'm having trouble with the tamper wiring (do I need to use all 6 cables for the PIR and only 2 for the door magnet? I have a Gardtec CP8L system that I inherited when I moved into my home several years ago. I wasn't left a code so asked the company who had serviced the system a couple of months previously to reset the system. On visiting, I was told that the system was faulty and the technician was unable to repair it. He left it powered-up such that the PIRs and bell box LEDs still flashed, so still acting as a deterrent. The keypad LCD display is blank. I have not touched the system, not even turning-off the mains, in case the external bell activates and I have no way of deactivating it. Hello, I have some question about the alarm system. We have two cats. Now I'm looking for the right alarm system for our house. I have 26 wired motion sensors and still need 4 wireless door and 7 wireless motion sensors. Which alarm is the better and the more modern, the Honeywell Galaxy Dimension GD-48 or the Galaxy Flex 50. Second question, I have the wired motion sensor “Active8 PIR with Pet Immunity”,( I bought them last year in England), are they compatible with Galaxy Dimension or Galaxy Flex. just wondering if you stock a piece of hardware which allows you to separately connect cameras and PIR sensors they don't really have to be connected together but would like remote notification of PIR sensing so cameras can be looked at

I have an existing Accenta Gen4 Alarm Panel - 8SP411A with 8 wired sensors. I want to replace the control box with one that has a LAN or WiFi interface for connection to my local LAN and is capable of sending alerts via email and has a web interface contactable on the WWW. I want to retain my wired sensors but also have the option of adding additional wireless sensors. Can you recommend a suitable control box?

I have changed the battery in both of my arming stations and now the Homelink 75 does not see them, I have followed the instructions in the Installation & Programming guide, but am currently baffled where it states to activate the tamper switch on the arming station, but where is the tamper switch? I have tried pressing each button, two buttons together, removing the back so as to disconnect the battery, still the panel does not see the arming station.
