  1. Is the reed failing a meter test? If the pir is flashing all the time, and the power is ok it needs to be returned
  2. I would look at the honeywell dt with mirror optics. The old iq is long obsolete.
  3. Do you mean active beams? And do you have a phone line available
  4. Do you need the dual head takex?
  5. I suppose the easiest way is to say on my own system at home i use the takex. Tried cheaper ones but settled on the takex.
  6. I personally wouldnt use pyronix for that. I rate the takex pir or an optex in that application. But if its just for cctv then im assuming false alarms are not an issue?
  7. I dont know of anywhere risk free and public im afraid. Are you a registered installer with honeywell? That is technically possible if you have the fw file
  8. Yes
  9. Yes that's possible but reg read needs to be no more than 6m wide at the capture point. Plus bear in mind you should use a dedicated anpr camera if reg is the primary purpose. Any camera can achieve this in good light etc but not in low light
  10. The best ip panel is the spc. That will give you the connectivity you require and can also email alarm events. Plus it's a hybrid system
  11. What's the application?
  12. It is correct as opening the cover tests the tamper switch, battery and hold off. Some low end panels overide this on entering engineer mode but this prevents sab tests
  13. The sim will expire after the 2 year prepay that is included
  14. That's going to require solar etc, is it for counting vehicles?
  15. Yes power down the panel. Plug in the key, power up and upgrade from the keypad.
  16. You don't want to disable that side Just put ur panel in engineers and you can open it without alarm
  17. Yes masking out the table area is definitely an option What are your settings and mounting height?
  18. Yes the rf tranciever is built in
  19. Pet sensors are not best especially with cats changing height as they appear much taller to the sensor. How close to the sensor is the cat when it alarms. Best bet in any pet environment is perimeter protection
  20. A Visonic power master one.
  21. Is your dvr capable of hd cameras?
  22. Have you deleted the old ones I could use a bit more detail on what you have done so far to programme them
  23. Are you programming them at the control panel?
