I have a Risco GT 595 and my installer has just gone out of business. I managed to get the engineer access code from him following his demise but this is of little use without an engineer installation manual or support from Risco. Not being a registered installer neither are available from Risco. Can I get these elusive commodities via Security Warehouse? I notice that many Risco products listed on your site are Sold Out with the exception of user manuals. Is there a reason for this unusual demand? many thanks recieved panic alarm fob today i recieved the 727r/728r i have registered te key fob to the alarm scantronic ion 16....however it does not arm or disarm the alarm i was wonderng if i had not done any thing obvious i also tried to add it as panic alarm that did not work. i was wondering if it could a faulty fob?

The transformer has failed in my old alarm. Looking at the Veritas Excel. Is this a straight swap? To the new alarm panels come with the battery or will i need to get one. Regards

I would like to purchase a system with 8 zones (7 for PIR and 1 for fire) and two remote control panels. An external bell sounder is not required but an internal one and alerts via the internet/e-mail would be required. Please could you recommend a system that would cover these requirements.

I moved into my current property and had an extension done to the building. As a result I haved added detectors (from SecurityWarehouse) to the alarm panel (Honeywell G2-12). However, when the alarm engineer attempted to access the menu, the code I was given was not working. Hence the engineer is locked out of the menu What is the best way to get into engineer menu and reprogramme the panel? any help would be appreciated?

I have recently purchased a Honeywell Accenta Gen 4 Alarm panel from you. I now find that I need backup battery for this panel. Can you please advise which one will fit and do you supply it.

Just installed accenta g4 with a keypad upstairs and one downstairs. When i power on the system i dont get any text on the display, just backlight nad the first line where text should be all dots are on. Both keypads are wired back to the panel. Has anybody seen this before?

Hi - wonder if anyone can help ? Just fitted this system - all is well, except I want to be able to set a chime against a zone when the system is in set mode. No problem setting a chime against a zone when unset but there doesnt appear to be an option to apply a chime to a zone when set. Is there anyway of doing that ? Regards

Hi I wonder if someone could help me please.I have a Veritas R8 with 5 zones 2 keypads,2 panic Buttons.We went away for the weekend came home electric Had triped alarm had gone over to battery and flattened both alarm panel and bell box, I turned electric back on alarm powered up and recharged but both key pads won't do anything every button you press has the same tone it seems to have locked out.The battery seems ok because if I disconnect from mains it lasts ages.Is it time for a new panel? I wonder if you can help. I have a Galaxy G2-20 and 8 ACTIV8 PIR hard wired sensors. The sensors have 8 terminals inside EOL TAM TAM RLY RLY EOL +12 -12 How do I connect these to the Galaxy? Should I choose normal closed or double balanced which is the default? What is the difference between these two modes? James
