Hi, I am trying to connect an AG6 sounder to an ADE Logic 6 panel (supplied by you) but the instructions supplied by both units are not clear and the AG6 instructions do not even conform to the suppied unit.

The Logic 6 panel connections are -

strobe -

strobe +

scb T

scb A

bell+ D

bell- B

 

The sounder AGL connections are -

ST-

R-

SW-

V+

V-

 

Can you please advise how these should be connected

Posted a couple of times before. Let me know if you're having issues. It's pretty standard for SCB/SAB. The siren's module gets power to charge and hold-off. It gives a ground return for the tamper and both strobe and siren are triggered by pulling their signals to ground.

 

Strobe +    = Spare

Strobe -    = ST- (strobe trigger)

SCB (T)    = TR- or R- (tamper Return)

SCB (A)    = V- (negative Supply)

Bell + (D)  = V+ (PositiveSupply)

Bell - (    = S- or SW- (sounder trigger)
