Intruder Alarms

Thank you for fast delivery of my order. I am contacting you because I have a problem on Menvier detectors M12 I wanted to test the outbreak with a hairdryer and the contact does not open. The light and red but no alarm on the alarm. I have checked the jumper everything is good. I have the problem on three sensors M 12 is really weird is it not?

I purchased a SD 3 dialler off you approximately 3 years ago. It has recently stopped dialling out when the alarm has been activated. I checked the Sim card in a mobile phone and I was able to make calls from the phone, to double check I also bought a new sim card which again worked in my mobile phone but would not dial out from the SD 3. In the LCD display , next to the temperature there is a small box with a letter T in it. The sim card I use is a Tesco pay as you go, signal strength is the same as usual. I bought a Visonic TOWER-20AM MCW Outdoor Motion Sensor on your web site in November 2012 and I had 4 false errors in the last 2 days. The message that I received on my phone each time is IRP MASKED ! First time I was home and nobody was outside in the Sensor area. The Sensor worked fine for more than 6 month and nothing change on the configuration. I don’t know what to do, could you please help me with that or explain me who can help me ?

My question is this. Are all the biscuits in an 11-20 blue-pack (as above) the same, apart from the numbered stickers, or is the internal wiring different? I ask because I've just broken a No 20 while attempting to replace a doorbell plate. Can I use another biscuit from the same pack as a replacement, or will this upset my alarm system? Sorry if this is a stupid question, but I'm no expert. I've asked for high-priority because my house alarm is disabled by the problem.

I am unable to enrol the KP-141 PG2(June2013) to the Power Master 30 alarm system(Nov2012): - Full enrolment procedure: I select the * key on the keypad until the LED turns on and then release the * key. The Power Master 30 alarm system (i.e. Add New Device -> Enrol Now) indicates on its display, "Incompatible Device". - Pre-enrolment procedure: I enter the Id of the device into the Power Master 30 alarm system and it is accepted (i.e. Add New Device -> Enter Id). However, the Power Master 30 alarm system indicates that the keypad cannot be networked.

hello just purchased this extra vx-402 and I am using it as a slave of another 402.the problem it will not detect a intrusion.it clicks it flashes but no sound to the alarm panel.what am I doing wrong?could the 402 be faulty.

I assume with the keypad I 1. open cover 2. disconnect wires (making note of what goes where) 3. wire up new keypad 4. replace cover, enter user code and test alarm

The systems re-starts itself making impossible to use is as it fires the alarms every time the systems re-starts. The system installation was installed about 2 weeks ago and at the beginning, about every day, at any time (middle of the night or right in the afternoon) the systems alarm was on but with NO intruder detection as the system was NOT armed. Watching the log events, every time that it fails, shows “START UP” and “MAINS OK” and the LCD Keypad shows new date and time as when start up for first time (like default factory data). I bought a powermaster 10 kit and i have a auto test alarm thats sends to my phone on strange dates (23-10-12, 07-01-13, 03-04-13). I have looked everywhere in the menys but can´t find any autotest meny with that kind of options of dates?? Also my powermaster hums alot from the Power unit, is that normal?

I see two mobile com modules TEXECOM. (type 0001-jae and cegb 001) What's the difference? There is a big price difference. I recently bought a 48 premier installation TEXECOM elite with you. The intention is that the alarm via mobile redirected to mobile. Additional question: To how many mobiles he can send the message and it is only a text message or voice?

When I install it, where it is supposed to be, it goes into this tamper alarm mode and it does not help to remove and then add the device or removing the battery, keeps staying in the tamper alarm mode. Have ran out of ideas. Any suggestions on what to do about it??? It is only one contact and it enrols fine and I also suspect its something with the tamper switch, but have not figured out how to reset the switch. Thought it was enough to put back the cover but apparently there is something else that needs to be done. Could you please explain how to 'reset' the tamper switch after it has been violated?

Hi I am looking into buying a Visonic home alarm system Is it possible to mount a curtain detector across a room, i.e. creating a wall (a foot inside of a number of windows), even though there might be chairs etc on the floor?

I have two garage doors, roller shutter style on my house in need of connection to the Visonic powermax complete system installed. Is it possible to use the "MCT-100" connected to a couple of "Knight Plastics F10C Roller Shutter" or do you have some other recommended solution for garage door protection?

Hi I need to purchase a wireless alarm system with proximity entry I have looked at the powermaster visonic range but need to know if the powermaster 10 panel has an internal 12 v supply outlet so I can add my already owned gsm dialer.I have seen that there are two proximity readers in the powermaster range the kp 160 and the kp 141 which is the most suitable and easiset to use and are the proximity tags an extra with these items

I want to use the PGM output to connect another device (trigger an event). The requirement for this is that the PGM has a binary digital output (On/Off). Does it? And how do I use this?

I have a domonial Crt 800 ++I have a problem with setup of the alarm system becourse I do not have the installation software. I thought it was enough to buy the TCU4-800M but I can not get the alarm system to work together. Is there an another way for me to program the system, or do you have the software and necessery cables to get the alarm to work.

i have a eco1000b base connected 13v to 4 on base 0v to 1 on base and switch to c and n/c I did look on forum but switch means nothing to me I connected +ve and -ve to base but connect from where? on control panel to C and N/c on base

From the manual of MC-302E PG2: "A 47k? E.O.L. resistor must be wired at the far end of the zone loop" Is this value (47000?)of the resistor correct? or it means 4k7 (4700?) resistor?

Purchased Accenta Mini G4 from you and have only just got round to installing it. On first power-up, I noticed that the walk test had a 1 under the P indicating a problem in the PA circuit. When I logged out of Engineer Mode I am also receiving a "PA Fault Lockout". I removed the PA button I had fitted suspecting a wiring problem and returned the factory fitted link on the PA terminals. I am still seeing the above fault and am left with an alarm in an unusable state. Any ideas of what might be causing the problem?

Hi, How do you change user and engineer code to the Texecom premier 24 panels. The manual gives details to change from eighter 4,5 or 6 numbers. I have tried with no success to program with 4 numbers and won't except only if I use 6 digit. Please if any one can help I would be grateful as I don't want to use 6 digit. Thanks.
