last April it has worked perfectly. However recently, although it texts me on arming and disarming, if I try to control the system remotely ie arm, disarm, status it fails to respond. This was a relatively expensive piece of equipment and although just over one year old, I would have expected it to have lasted longer than this. It is operating with a Premier 24 panel (although only partially now!)

I have a problem with the GSM-module...when I installed it I made the system powerless as it said in the manual, installed the sim-card and put the module in place. I connected the power both the battery and the AC. When I later should install the GSM in the "menu# 6" (where I put in the numbers the alarm shall sms to) it

The system was installed and commissioned as part of a new build. When we moved into the building End of January 2011 we started to set the alarm. On two occasions the alarm has gone off in the middle of the night. on both occasions the keypad has been totally blank but still powered because you can see the back light. on both occasions the only way to stop the alarm has been to open the control panel and disconnect the battery. The electrician (that always fits rafiki alarms) on powering the system back up found that the system thought the keypad had been tampered with. The first time we thought it was the tamper sensor and adjusted it. The second time with the same fault we went over the whole system and we were told that it will require the system box and keypad replacing because it could be either and there is no way of knowing which one is faulty. Well since he did get technical support and it was decided that it was not conclusive that it was the key pad or the system box that the advice came back to change out both.

Hi informa bought with accenta poly gen4 (LCD Keypad) on 23 March. Alarm installed ok. Informa wired as per instructions. Programmed phone number and recorded message. When testing, you can hear number being dialled on the infoma box and then shortly after you hear the recorded message but the programmed telephone does not ring. Tried it with different numbers and programmed the number on 1,2&3. When trying it with a mobile phone number, the mobile didn\'t ring but received a missed call from the unit about 5 minutes later (this didn\'t happen everytime we tried the mobile - nothing came through). thanks

Hi, 5 Zones enabled but only zone 5 is sounding when sounders set off, the other 4 zones are not responding when you set call points off or test the detectors. i also have a earth fault that wont go away i have earth continuity on all zones and at the panel. i'm sorry but yesterday i received your ex-35r optex detectors and, comparing with mine, i discovered that inside my detector there is one more transmitter, probably compatible with my General Electric "Simon" alarm. here you can see the manual (in italian) of my "Simon": http://www.hesa.com/index.php?page=shop.getfile&file_id=658&product_id=515&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=37 in this manual it is written that Simon works with any "autolearning" detector SX ITI at 433Mhz. if you want, i would like to send you a picture to show the transmitter that is inside, and if you have it i can purchase, or if you have detectors compatible with my alarm system i would purchase them. if you don't have any solution i would send back the detectors. i'm very sorry for that and i thank you for your help. giorgio
