We have a Scantronic 9752 system with 2 9955 rfx expanders. The zone in the garage has a dual tech pir and transmitted using a 735r. About every two days we get a Sup Fail message on this zone. Distance is about 45 yards - easy line of sight and only a thin slate roof for the signal to get through. Suspecting the transmitter was not strong enough we recently bought from you the 703r transmitter and unfortunately still have the same problem. We tried the zone on both 9955 receivers which both show a signal stength of 6. So we have effectively changed the transmitter and the receiver and appear to have a good signal but are still getting Sup fail messages. Any idea what we could try next. Incidentally we have a Range Rover whose alarm system is upset by the burglar alarm. Any chance of it working in reverse and the Range Rover upsetting the signal from the 735r Any suggestions welcome

full Texecom Veritas Excel alarm system After a busy couple of weeks I finally got to installing it this morning. I didn't wire the end station to my field devices just yet, I just linked one of the remote keypads to program my own user codes in. Following the manual, I powered with the battery first and the panel powered up for around 30 seconds but then switched back off (I had just disarmed the panel with the default code and was about to enter the programming menu). I tried powering up again but the panel didn't switch on. I then disconnected the keypad and tried it again with battery and then on mains, nothing happened. No LEDs or anything... The battery is a 2.3A/h and is compatible as far as the manual states? I am quite confused as to what has happened as I have followed all proceedings by the book, literally. I checked all wiring repeatedly and there wasn't a problem with it. I checked the manual and it advised to change the fuses on the board; only there are no fuses. I changed the mains fuse but that made no difference. Can somebody advise if there is something I can do to get the panel up and running again or swap it out if it is a faulty unit?

I have been recalculating and it seems that the Galaxy G2 wireless starter is is a very good deal. The kit is about the price of the sensors and the keyprox. which means I would get the panel + RF portal for free. Am I missing something here? If I want a Dimension 48 wireles started kit it seems I would better buy the wireless G2 kit + a separate GD 48 panel. Also if you cam me me a better deal for a GD 48 + MK7keyprox + 3wireless PIR + 6 wireless door contacts + 4 prox's + 2way switch I would like to hear that too. PS. Can I dial/log in remotely (PSTN/Ethernet) with the dimension?

Please can you confirm wiring details for this system: the control is the Honeywell Galaxy Flex 20 and Honeywell IS215T PIR's are these compatible, how do i connect these as i have only wired alarms that have a separate tamper circuit connections do you have any wiring diagrams showing these PIR's wired singly to each zone ( 1 PIR per Zone)

I need 2 outputs on the Fire Alarm because there is currently a door on an lectric release on the only output that is available on their current firealarm. I need the second output for another door that we have installed an electric release and keypad entry onto.

I have a customer who is after adding a wireless keypad onto a Texacom Premier 24 (wired) system. I was under the impression that this was not possible without replacing the panel and all accessories (PIRs, Contacts etc) completely. Could you please advise me if there is a product whereby I can add a wireless keypad to this system

Hello, I'm french and my english is very poor... I'm a retired man living in a house and so I'm not a company. My house has 15 contacts of relays (one on each door and on each window), they had been placed during the construction of the house. The wires are in the wall and completely hidden. I'm looking for wired alarm with an ability of extension ( number of wired captors or also wireless captors). The centrale must be quite (no siren) to be dissimulated from the burglars. In my bedroom I want and keypad with a LCD that can indicate to me where the intrusion occurs. My job was in informatic system, so I will be happy to configure my alarm with my PC through an ethernet bus. That bus (ethernet), in my dream send me (by a mail box? ) the information of an intrusion. The ethernet allows to me to read the log of events. Naturally, I need of the software for the exploitation of ethernet (configure and read events) I have seen G2-20 or G2-44 honeywell but I'm not sure that they fit my specifications concerning the access by ethernet (remember, I'm not a company...) I have a Menvier TS690id system and am after another keypad and ID chips. The panel will accept the ID plus chips. Do you stock a keypad that will work with this panel and do you still have id biscuits in stock. Also will your proximity tag readers be compatible with the netled/netlcd keypads already fitted as an upgrade and any new keypad you can supply for the system, if not fitted into the keypad.

hi. this dialler has been on site for a few months. originally we had a pay as you go sim card in and all worked ok. for ease for the customer we have replaced this with a contract sim card. i have checked the sim in a phone and all working fine however the dialleer will not see the sim card. i have spoken to jgd. who have advised mE. still the unit will not see the new sim

Having a problem with the new units : Initially both TX units were recognized by the RX unit and worked correctly but after about 15 minutes one of the TX units ceased to be recognized (the PIR is working since the LED flashes on the TX unit but the RX unit is not responding). Have disconnected and reconnected power to both TX and RX unit and used RX program mode to attempt to re-detect TX unit but still no response. Is there any other "reset" procedure or is the TX unit faulty?

In my house I got a security system called Gardtec and i think it is Risco / Gardtec Contour LED RKP (580 series) because mine does look like this one as it is show on this website. i would like to use this security system however i cant reset the program or set it. I been looking on the internet i belive i need the engineer code or master code to reset the program but i dont have this codes. Could you please help me where or how can i get this codes to reset it or how much is it cost for engineer to come to do it for me !? Can you tell me if I were to buy 2 or 3 different system PIR's would they all work in any alarm system. I have a system fitted that requires additional PIR units for more protection. I have had a home security police team look over my house. I would be grateful for any advice on this matter.
