I am interested in a Powermax alarm system, but need some information and advice.

First, I live in Sweden, shipping available? And if so, could you please state the total price delivered to me?

 

Our needs are for a two-storage residential home at a total of 145 square meters

There are two main entraces and two patio doors in glass. The two patio doors are in immediate proximity to large window portions with windows from one side of the room to the other at a total of two times 5 meters and reaching from floor to roof. There are also a bathroom window and two windows at the entrance from floor to roof.

The powermax will do what you want and you can connect to it from a computer. However this isnt IP and the pc must dial the panel. This may be a problem to you.

You might want to look at the scantronic i-on40 as this has remote access via iphone, netbook etc.

 

Im afraid i dont know anything about the 'KNX' system. The powermax does have an x10 module.
