See the attached drawing. The unit needs 12v (+ an -) The next connections are for the inertia devices (tremblers) wired in series) the next connection is the closed loop to be wired into the zone. Tamper is wired by wiring through all the devices again in series with a seperate loop. Suppot

Steve 1. The only sensor i know of with built in Glass break is the crow unit http://www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=1522 but the movement sensor part is not suitable for your application. For extremes of temprature and or direct sunlight any PIR sensor will be susceptible to nuisance alarms. In these situations id recommend a Dualtec. As with everything these vary and all have their plus and minus's. As a Dualtec is PIR and microwave based (both technologies have to alarm) a false alarm on the pir side alone will not cause the sensor to alarm as the microwave side hasnt activated, and vice versa. But while a pir cannot detect through glass a microwave can. Because of this id recommend a Honeywell DT7550 or 7450 sensor with a K band Microwave. A k band is a higher freq so is harder for the waves to penetrate past the detction area. But correct setup is essential. http://www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=1164 2. I would expect a vibrations sensor to detect this as its high freq vibration, but you will need more than 1 per wall. See the manufacturers guidance notes for more info on ranges. http://www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=36_56&products_id=619 3. If they are very 'harsh' environments then consider one of the external sensors. Alternativly a dualtec. Id probably look at a 7x50 honeywell or an optex mx40. http://www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=436

Nick Without a site survey its difficult to recommend any product. The powermax or the risco wisdom seem ideal for you though. If you have previous experience of the powermax then that would seem the logical choice. These things arnt that easy to program and training is advised. Support

The axis 207 requires a N/O (normally open) input. Most security devices are N/C (normally closed). However some offer N/O options. ie http://www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=1688 See datasheet.

There are a few panels that offer a flush keypad. The texecoms have probably the widest choice, but also menvier and galaxy. http://www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=925 Support

Yes but they arnt really diy products. But yes they just wire into a zone as a pir would.

Attached is the wiring diagram you need to connect the tamper return from your bell to BELL TMP Ensure you have got the holdoff supplies from the aux connectors not the bell as the bell- is switched -
Neil The rafiki system is a 2 wire system. Id advise you have a good read through the system spec sheets but All devices sit on the 2 wire zone cable. This allows relay modules, sounders, call points, smoke detectors etc to be on the same cable. Yes Yes Yes Upto 85db on High As a stand alone higher output sounder

Peter If you look at the scantronic watch buttons or a pendant transmitter these would seem ideal. But not all transmitters will function on all receivers. If you need a watch tx then you will need a separate wireless receiver for this. http://www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=526

Be careful to checkk what the rfx rx supports. Unfortunatly andy the 701 isnt supported by the rfx. The only way to interface this is to use a standalone rx and connect that into a spare zone. Support

Actually the simple set has 2 modes of operation As specialist says where the outputs are wired into inputs to keyswitch arm etc, but they can also connect on the keypad line of the accenta / optima to allow full interraction without using inputs. Support

I can only speak from personal experience when it comes to recommeding panels, but the galaxy is an excellent unit. When you say you use texecom, im assuming you normally use the veritas as the premier is a very capable panel. The G2 range is not as powerful as the G3 or classic range. But yes the items you have chosen are compatible. The domonial RF system that the galaxy uses is very very stable.

I have to agree with specialist.

Subash Im not sure i fully understand the question but if your saying you have had a breakin and your alarm is now not functional id advise you contact the installation / service company. If your upgrading to a bigger panel then as a abottom end panel i can recommend the honeywell accenta range, these have 8 zones and will take lcd keypads http://www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=864 Tech Support

Faulty Scantronic 8136 following tech support call today
Secware_Tech6 replied to simon-spec's topic in Intruder Alarms
Id have a word with your engineer to confirm the panel is dead, and they will advise you on the best course of action as they have access to more information than we do here. If you have alimited number of circuits id have a look at the 9851 range. But any panel change is not an easy task. Tech Support
