  1. Your best bet is to list what connections you have and then someone here will translate them
  2. jayjay, you will need a euro one to utilise the prox function. AFAIK this is currently only available in kit form (ie with 1 keypad)
  3. Use the 3011 Handset. But you should only connect upto 3 handsets without an amplifier. http://www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=1737
  4. You might find one, but id advise you find your contractor first. Also you will need a prosys installer. You can add keypads to it but you will need to correct keypad for your version of panel. Im guessing you have just bought a panel only? It is suitable for home use, but its supposed to be a pro only panel due to its complexity. We currently cant supply it without written approval from risco.
  5. Jay The prosys is a great panel, but is only available through official channels if you have had the full training and are a professional installer. It is defenetly one for the pro's. Hopefully you will get full docs with it etc. Risco wont support it unless you hold a valid training cert. We only supply ProSYS's with that info. Let us know how you get on. Support
  6. The 700 was an eol / double pole panel, the 690ID is an ID based panel. Also the 700 didnt support LCD. Support
  7. The mic is indeed pcb mounted, while technically possible to extend, it wouldnt be supported. You are going to need some sort of psu. Im assuming that you will be running this from an intruder panel. If so this has its own 12v backup system that will also run your dialler. If your concerned that severing the wire betwen the panel and dialler is a risk then id suggest a dialler isnt secure enough in this instance and you should be looking at redcare or dualcom etc. The only units that offer remote mics are the texecom and pyronix units. All units suffer from the reliabilty if the sms service centre you use, im not aware that the texecom is worse than any other, but the gsm units are better as they dont have to dial the centre via the land line, and are caperble of texting in the conventional way. If your after dialin facility primerly there are audio verification systems that are designed for this, the diallers offer a very basic version of this.
  8. 1. Yes it does, but there are no terminals for additional or external microphones. 2, Yes they are available on the GSM side also 3, Backup power is provided usually by the intruder alarm panel, and the standby battery runs the whole system. Support
  9. PJ Ive passed them round the office and its not something any of recognise. Do you have an image of the reader? Support
  10. PJ You will need to know what equipment you have. AFAIK Dantech dont make an Access control product but do make very good psu and peripherals. Once you know the brand of the equipment you have someone here will be able to help Support
  11. Cylinder re keying is something we offer on certain cylinders. If you email your request to sales one of the lock specialists will deal with your enquiry. Support
  12. See the attached drawing. The unit needs 12v (+ an -) The next connections are for the inertia devices (tremblers) wired in series) the next connection is the closed loop to be wired into the zone. Tamper is wired by wiring through all the devices again in series with a seperate loop. Suppot
  13. Steve 1. The only sensor i know of with built in Glass break is the crow unit http://www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=1522 but the movement sensor part is not suitable for your application. For extremes of temprature and or direct sunlight any PIR sensor will be susceptible to nuisance alarms. In these situations id recommend a Dualtec. As with everything these vary and all have their plus and minus's. As a Dualtec is PIR and microwave based (both technologies have to alarm) a false alarm on the pir side alone will not cause the sensor to alarm as the microwave side hasnt activated, and vice versa. But while a pir cannot detect through glass a microwave can. Because of this id recommend a Honeywell DT7550 or 7450 sensor with a K band Microwave. A k band is a higher freq so is harder for the waves to penetrate past the detction area. But correct setup is essential. http://www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=1164 2. I would expect a vibrations sensor to detect this as its high freq vibration, but you will need more than 1 per wall. See the manufacturers guidance notes for more info on ranges. http://www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=36_56&products_id=619 3. If they are very 'harsh' environments then consider one of the external sensors. Alternativly a dualtec. Id probably look at a 7x50 honeywell or an optex mx40. http://www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=436
  14. Nick Without a site survey its difficult to recommend any product. The powermax or the risco wisdom seem ideal for you though. If you have previous experience of the powermax then that would seem the logical choice. These things arnt that easy to program and training is advised. Support
  15. The axis 207 requires a N/O (normally open) input. Most security devices are N/C (normally closed). However some offer N/O options. ie http://www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=1688 See datasheet.
  16. There are a few panels that offer a flush keypad. The texecoms have probably the widest choice, but also menvier and galaxy. http://www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=925 Support
  17. Yes but they arnt really diy products. But yes they just wire into a zone as a pir would.
  18. what information are you after. the impaq wires as any normal double pole detector. Support
  19. what indications are present during power up and do you get any beeps relating to each keypress. are your powering mains or batt first and is the power up clean ie switch or fused spur?
  20. yes that looks correct. the strobe can either be connected through one of the relays or connected with the bell - to follow the bell. Support
  21. if you disconnect the circuit wire to the pa connections in the keypad and leave engineer mode what's the result?
  22. Attached is the wiring diagram you need to connect the tamper return from your bell to BELL TMP Ensure you have got the holdoff supplies from the aux connectors not the bell as the bell- is switched
  23. Neil The rafiki system is a 2 wire system. Id advise you have a good read through the system spec sheets but All devices sit on the 2 wire zone cable. This allows relay modules, sounders, call points, smoke detectors etc to be on the same cable. Yes Yes Yes Upto 85db on High As a stand alone higher output sounder
  24. Una I hope one of the members can assist here but if you have lost your key (this is to allow you to open your safe if your batteries go flat) then i think thats it. Id advise you contact a local locksmith or see if any of our members can help with a site visit. Support
  25. Peter If you look at the scantronic watch buttons or a pendant transmitter these would seem ideal. But not all transmitters will function on all receivers. If you need a watch tx then you will need a separate wireless receiver for this. http://www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=526
