  2. dogz Neither the cpx or the 490x offer sms messaging, but they do have a basic speech dialler on board. The 490x includes the later contour keypad and a metal end station. Yes they do have a programmable output Support
  3. Jay I have refreshed your download link. I have also sent it via you account email. Support
  4. We have currently suspended shipping to cyprus as the carrier has increased the shipping charge to
  5. On the powermax it is an AC signal so you can connect it either way round. Support
  6. from a returns point of view the whole unit will need to be swapped. but be sure it is a faulty transformer. Support
  7. no. you need to size the battery depending on the other components and the system current. but the compact units only have space for a 2.1 - 2.3 A/h battery due to space limitations. Support
  8. Anteas What country are you trying to select?
  9. Glad you sorted it. BTW what did you put in its place?
  10. Chris. I have spoken to accounts and this was done earlier today. Support
  11. You may have a problem getting help here as its a DIY system not a Professional one so doubt anybody here would have an experience with it. Im sure members will have removed a few, but worked on them... less likly. Good luck though.
  12. The powermax needs an PSTN or POTS tel line. Id expect some issues trying to use it through a VOIP converter.
  13. I have replied to your previous message below. http://www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/forums/index.php/topic,204.msg508.html#msg508
  14. the Gen 4 optima and accenta will accept lcd, led or easy set readers. you can also mix them on the same system. The 3G optima and accenta will only accept an led keypad. Support
  15. thats very low. But is certainly more than ok.
  16. yes i would suggest it is due to the pebble dash. There is an adjustment screw on the rear of the unit for the rear tamper. You will need to adjust this until the button is pressed fully in when fitted to the wall. Easist way to remove the 'alarm in memory' is just to set the system (ie leave the property and arm in the normal way) then unset. Any previous alarms will then be reset. SUpport
  17. Deodar. I have checked your account and the download should be available. If you have a look in your order history there will be be a button next to the product for download. However i have also emailed the zip file to your registered email account. Support

  19. while the pcb etc will support upto a 7A/h battery the case will only accommodate a 2.1A/h. this is a physical size issue only ie it won't fit in the compact case. Support
  20. all montors that are pal or CCIR (ie this one) are 1v p to p. However the lower end usnits do not have looping outputs, ie you cannot feed another monitor of this one. Also the 75 Ohm is a termination and is not switchable on lower end units. You only need a swithable 75 Ohm termination resistor if you have multiple monitors on a feed, due to only the last item requiring the termination resistor. Support
  21. hensoa they are 2 detectors however as you note you can use the vibro side in lathing mode so that you can have more than 1 per circuit. It is better to have 1 device per circuit but obvioulsy this does increase the cost. 28 zones is not uncommon but a lot of people (non approved installers etc) just pt a lad of detectors on 1 circuit to lower the cost. This is obviously not ideal. Yes they can be in any dry location, however id be extremely cautious about usiong vibration detectors on a shed, ie wind, rain, hail etc. They do an rf keyfob if thats what you mean but you would need a wireless expander for the premier to accept these. There are no external keypads, however as long as the location is dry it will be fine. Support
  22. i would avoid wireless innitially. But it depends on the freq they may be jamming on. Id expect them to be very high freq, not 400-900 MHz. However if they then this may cause issues. (a fly past wouldnt but if they were to jam your freq for a long period of time that would) your only choice then is hardwired. ID have alook at the texecom premier 48 and up, you will need relevant expanders so that you have 1 device per circuit. YOu will need 1 keypad per entrance. Have a look at proximity fob/tag as this will be the easiest to use. SUpport
  23. you need to enable the other part sets. Have a look in the manual and there are setting types for each part set. You will notice part set 2 is defaulted to 'none' ie disabled. Support
