  1. Lee is right the cpx (as std without wireless) maybe a better option. Pet tolerant with large pets is often an issue. I wouldnt personally consider anything other than the tritech
  2. Hi Pete 1. Yes but id look at the bosch blueline sensors instead. Also what sort of pet do you have. 2. Yes it is built into the CP 3. It includes a nicad battery on board. Support
  3. Homelink 55 http://www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=1345 External Sounder Ventcroft Classic http://www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=678 Internal SPeaker http://www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=662 Speech Dialler http://www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=1348 Scantronic Wireless PIR http://www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=520 Scantronic Wireless Vibration Sensor http://www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=523 Scantronic Door Contact http://www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=693 You may need cable, fused spur, Battery for panel (Yuasa 7A/h) Decoy Sounder Support
  4. We are currently evaluating a new anpr system, i will update this if approved for listing. SUpport
  5. as above 17v is way too high. If you enter the correct code what does it display if anything? Its not armed is it? Support
  6. ASD a soundbomb is a switched 12v unit so no. The extention speaker outputs are for just that a speaker. You would normally wire the soundbomb between bell trigger and a perm 12v + Support
  7. Surinder The homelink 55 is hybrid but the 75 is wireless only. When you say 'wired led bellbox' do you mean a full wired bellbox or just an led? Support
  8. The battery is a 3.6v one, the image is a generic image. Support
  9. Drinu We recently removed shipping to malta due to the very high shipping charges. If any of our customers would like this service back if they can let us know i will see what we can do. The price rise as i understand it for shipping to malta was IMO too high a rise. Support
  10. asd Yes. But ensure you get intruder alarm smoke sensors from the intruder section not fire sensors from the fire section as they will only function on a 24v fire panel. Conventionally fire (24v) systems the bases are seperate. With intruder (12v) based systems they are included. The menver m12 and the texecom units do include the base. Support
  11. The powermax is a fine system but on a personal note if i could get a wire there then i would. The powermax will be an easier install and program. Hybrid panel the scantronic homelink or the galaxy 2-20 kit would be the ones to look at. Support
  12. Yes it should but i would confirm the freq of the devices you have. SUpport
  13. It is yes but if your ata ll unsure you should use the services of a pro installer. SUpport
  14. Andrew 1. Yes they are G2x panels 2. Yes 3. Id recommend the texecom as it has by far the best manuals. The 9651 has the most features though. 4. Yes but they are not as loud as a dedicated sounder. Pir wise id recommend an optex unit but the units you mention are fine.
  15. Sounds like you have faults on cctc 7, 7 and 8. Support
  16. All crelevant contact infoation is on the site. Also prices are listed on the site. If we dont stock any parts then I can ask sales to look at stocking them depending upon what they are etc. Support
  17. on en panels the default is to require a user code to give an engineer permission to access the panel. This can be disabled. If disabled then the panel will do as you describe. If not then it wont. But if your concerned avoid the 9651 for now. FSL is far more secure and allows both alarm and tamper to be sent of a single pair of wires, where as cc requires 2 pairs.
  18. The above issue only arises if a the the engineer code is known, and if user permission to enter engineers is disabled. By default the panel does not do this as you need to enable engineer access before the code will function. But for non EN jobs id recommend the honeywell panel. Support
  19. I will pass it on. Its not a stock item but they should be available from the middle of next week. Support
  20. its usual only for devices from the same manufacturer to match up etc. If you have a look though in the sounder manual it does list what you need.
  21. 1) Yes but it is called double pole. ie a set of contacts for alarm, one for tamper and another for power. To mount any sensor to a caileing you will require a cileing bracket. Some do come with a free non compliant one (ie you can move the sensor without it going into alarm) or you would need to purchase an additional cileing bracket. 2) as above 3) Yes this sounder has a strobe, comfort leds and a sounder. Support
  22. The battery size needs to be calculated by using the system standby current.(measured using a multimeter) So for example if your system has a standby current of 0.3A and you need a 12 hours standby time (Grade 2 EN regulations minimum standby time) 0.3A * 12 = 3.6A you also need 30 mins in alarm so if alarm current is 0.8A 0.8A / 2 = 0.4A 0.4A + 3.6A = 4.0A add 10% for battery aging over 5 years 4.4 A so the minimum battery size in the above example is 4.4A/h There isnt a 4.4 so you would pick the next available size up. In this case a 7.0A/h battery re the speaker any 16Ohm speaker is suitable eg http://www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=662 Support
  23. The Uk model is an older software version and some of the options are different. Many people (non approved installers) prefer the UK version as its more end user friendly in operation (ie EN regs have stringent requirments for acknowledging events etc) The eu model is the new one and technically the one we would advise.
  24. i wouldnt say we have a problem with these units, and we have tested them on BT lines. Som elines have leastcost routing that take too long to connect, some non bt lines have less than 50v and the dialler wont pre flash, I would disconnect all the other eqp on that line and see if that helps, as you could have an old phone etc causing you problems.
