  1. I have replied to your previous message below. http://www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/forums/index.php/topic,204.msg508.html#msg508
  2. the Gen 4 optima and accenta will accept lcd, led or easy set readers. you can also mix them on the same system. The 3G optima and accenta will only accept an led keypad. Support
  3. thats very low. But is certainly more than ok.
  4. yes i would suggest it is due to the pebble dash. There is an adjustment screw on the rear of the unit for the rear tamper. You will need to adjust this until the button is pressed fully in when fitted to the wall. Easist way to remove the 'alarm in memory' is just to set the system (ie leave the property and arm in the normal way) then unset. Any previous alarms will then be reset. SUpport
  5. Deodar. I have checked your account and the download should be available. If you have a look in your order history there will be be a button next to the product for download. However i have also emailed the zip file to your registered email account. Support
  6. mpollet Yes Yes Here is a link to all visonic radio equipement http://www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/index.php?cPath=36_60&sort=20a&main_page=index&filter_id=68 here is the visonic std wireless pir for the powermax http://www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=36_60&products_id=1697 Support
  7. while the pcb etc will support upto a 7A/h battery the case will only accommodate a 2.1A/h. this is a physical size issue only ie it won't fit in the compact case. Support
  8. all montors that are pal or CCIR (ie this one) are 1v p to p. However the lower end usnits do not have looping outputs, ie you cannot feed another monitor of this one. Also the 75 Ohm is a termination and is not switchable on lower end units. You only need a swithable 75 Ohm termination resistor if you have multiple monitors on a feed, due to only the last item requiring the termination resistor. Support
  9. hensoa they are 2 detectors however as you note you can use the vibro side in lathing mode so that you can have more than 1 per circuit. It is better to have 1 device per circuit but obvioulsy this does increase the cost. 28 zones is not uncommon but a lot of people (non approved installers etc) just pt a lad of detectors on 1 circuit to lower the cost. This is obviously not ideal. Yes they can be in any dry location, however id be extremely cautious about usiong vibration detectors on a shed, ie wind, rain, hail etc. They do an rf keyfob if thats what you mean but you would need a wireless expander for the premier to accept these. There are no external keypads, however as long as the location is dry it will be fine. Support
  10. i would avoid wireless innitially. But it depends on the freq they may be jamming on. Id expect them to be very high freq, not 400-900 MHz. However if they then this may cause issues. (a fly past wouldnt but if they were to jam your freq for a long period of time that would) your only choice then is hardwired. ID have alook at the texecom premier 48 and up, you will need relevant expanders so that you have 1 device per circuit. YOu will need 1 keypad per entrance. Have a look at proximity fob/tag as this will be the easiest to use. SUpport
  11. you need to enable the other part sets. Have a look in the manual and there are setting types for each part set. You will notice part set 2 is defaulted to 'none' ie disabled. Support
  12. that sounds ok, however i waqs meaning the xurrent draw of the dc side (ie put meter in series with battery and remove mains power, check resultanct dc current draw.) Support
  13. We cannot provide engineering manuals for products not purchased on your account im afraid. Also have a look at the homelink 55 as this comes with a wireless expander, or the galaxy 2-20 wireless starter kit.
  14. they do vibrate, a faulty transformer is when the laminations of the transformer buzz (ie the transformer itself) but your system could be overloaded (not by design ie your equipment is fine) by a fault. You need to test the day mode current to ensure its correct. Also a faulty battery can draw too much current you might want to check the charge current also. Support
  15. SOunds like it isnt the transformer but the case vibrating. It isnt over loaded is it? ie what is the standby current of the system?
  16. EN systems are now not allowed to show status to level 1 users, ie people without codes. This is a requirement of en50131 Support
  17. tenbob In short i wouldnt the sunlight alone would cause an issue in that location.
  18. tenbob The risco agility is only available to registed and trained installers. We cannot have this currently on the website. This is a restriction from risco themselves. Support
  19. The bigger panels (ie not the 9651) do have additional zone types so you can achieve this. But im afraid you need a more advanced panel. SUpport
  20. Robin I have emailed you the file compressed with the older zip algo. Support
  21. phlize Some buzz is normal and all transformers buzz slightly. The metal box of the 9651 will also slightly amplify it. But it may be too loud its impossible to say from here lol as i cant hear it. You may try 2 things first 1. ensure the screws/bolts holding the transformer are tight. 2. ensure panel is well fixed to the wall and no part is slightly sprung (to test 2 just slightly loosen all the fixing screws and see if it goes quieter) but this is a temp test the panel must be securly fixed. As a last resort if you have really sensitive hearing and its not a faulty transformer you will need to damp the transformer where it mounts the control panel. Small rubber washers are best and need to be inserted between the 2. If the vibrations are the lid, backplate etc then you can remove these by adjustment. If the transformer is faulty and is delaminating (the bits of metal in the former are vibrating together) then we will replace it. Hope that sort of helps Support
  22. There are currently only 2 payment methods for outside the uk. one is paypal the other is bank transfer. Credit card is only accepted (non paypal transaction) for uk cards. Support
  23. id agree i wouldnt take any risks either. i dont know what they are saying etc all i can say is that we get hundreds of paypal payments without issues. When checking out and selecting paypal they paypal site will offer various choices. I cant help with paypal issues as they take control of the transaction after you press the paypal button it is not handled by our site.
  24. Id have a look at the powermax for a wireless solution or the texecom premier for a wired one. Alternativly the galaxy 2-20 includes an onboard modem for texting via the landline
