  1. The only control panel that I know that can easily do that is the siemens spc range.
  2. Iirc the 6 wire keypad is no longer available. I would advise a replacement as id guess yours is well over 10 years old.
  3. No it has to show. What if it was a rear door and had been left open. Its only reporting it is activating it does not affect the exit procedure
  4. Non of our equipment is designed for diy installation. For that you need to use b&q etc as these supply the low security easy fit products
  5. Use an enersys 2.8 but it does depend on the system load. What is your standby current on the system?
  6. You need a panel that supports groups such as the galaxy dimension or siemens spc. Id recommend a cqr sounder and siemens pirs
  7. Ok yes the aerial will help bit you may need some more receivers
  8. Are you just using the internal aerials? What's the distances and environment
  9. The detector manual will show how. You need to remove the eol jumpers
  10. It looks like you have wired it double pole but configured your detector for eol use. Change the jumpers for non eol use and you should be ok
  11. No you cant you will need a 12v detector. Honeywell do a 12v non latching base for their detectors
  12. Could you upload a picture of the wiring, the dip switch/jumpers and what panel you are using please
  13. It does sound like the pirs have no power. On a pir if there is no power they will be in alarm. Do the walk test less illuminate on the pirs
  14. Its not a programmable option on the smaller panels
  15. You could use port forwards but I recommend vlans or vpns. Ideally use something like a draytek router and link all sites together via vpn. Alternatively you could look at smoothwall units or openvpn This is a IT solution as I wouldn't recommend passing security information over your wan with out strong encrytion.
  16. Any of the premiers could do that but u will need a few modules. Have a look at the Honeywell flex this will do as you need and has app support. I wouldn't recommend sms alerts unless using a gsm module.
  17. The active beams come with pole mount brackets so you can concrete in the pole and attach. No you cannot get mirrors designed for the purpose, while the theory is sound it would be a difficult to setup and maintain.
  18. It will need a repair if the lcd has failed
  19. When it triggers what is it reporting as the cause?
  20. So are the pirs still all in alarm?
  21. Id say a cqr bell unit but everybody has a personal preference
  22. Id advise a siemens eline dt in that situation. Its the best pet sensor I've personally tested. But the only 200% way is to use perimeter protection, ie vibs and contacts
  23. You shouldn't have more than one device per circuit. Eol Is only more secure if the cable is attacked.
  24. Could be but id be surprised. First I check day mode current Dc supply voltage at the detectors And ac ripple on the cabling What do you have connected to the panel? If you could post the readings above please
