Can securitywarehouse tell me what the cheapest bellbox they can find is? I was thinking of the honeywell ag6 or the esp acouta, I can only find an esp acousta for a tenner but it has a red lens and not blue. Could securitywarehouse price one up??

Does the Texecom veritas R8+ you have listed on your site come with the LED keypad or the LCD?? I think you should do a special day were you have free delivery with your order . I'd order one form you but the VAT and postage adds up. Im only 14 too!

Hello can anybody give me some advice on adjusting the volume on the above alarm system to low, altering the volume adjustment on the PCB has no effect the volume tone is quite loud, I had an accenta 8 system previously installed and had the same problem?. Hey, My old ademco accord has stopped working due to the transformer being broken. I am now looking to install a new system myself using existing wiring etc, but I'm not sure what system would be most suited and easiest to install. I am thinking of either Texecom VERITAS R8 or the Scantronic 9448. Any advice, tips or help would be appreciated. Ta.

Hi, i set my passage as an entry/exit zone type with the connector on the front door, when i set the alarm i get the exit tone then the system sets, but on retrurning to the property instead of sounding the entry tone allowing me time to put in my code - it triggers the alarm setting off the siren, how can i solve this? thank you daniel

What is the best course of action - I have a Homelink ( Scantronic) 75 Security System installed over 3 yrs ( the installers have gone bust and I cannot therefore get the original installers to maintain system) Over the last 6 months the system as gone down specifically - the passives batteries. Can I simply replace batteries with lithium AA cell batteries will this restore the system to normal functuality at the control panel or does the new batteries mean a total reset? Secondly, can I add further 2 passives (I believe I'd need the Scantronic 714R passive infra-red detector & transmitter) and a panic alarm or do I need professional installers due to complexity…

Hi, I'm looking to purchase three of these detectors: Bosch Blue Line ISM-BLD1-P Pet Friendly TriTech Detector I see from your site and the spec sheet that they are manufactured in three different frequencies. If I order three, are you able to supply three different frequencies? Three different frequencies would be ideal as the location of each detector may mean that their coverage may overlap. Hi just a quick question does the above control panel come with the ability to call or text you if your alarm has been activated or do you have to buy extra parts? As screwfix are advertising it comes with Voice alerts up to 3 telephone numbers when alarm is activated.

My system is now indicating \"trouble\"...\"AC failure...fuse failure\" The ac is connected and the supply is good. the manual says the powermax has 2 internal fuses that automatically reset. But still the trouble message is there. I am assuming its now running on the battery and will be dead within the next day. please help.

Hello, I would be grateful if you could help me in any way with my problem as outlined as follows. My son has recently moved into a house with an existing burgular alarm. Unfortunately, the alarm control box doesn't have any manufacturers name or address. The only markings on the front of the box is what appears to be "9448". Hi & thanks for providing this great resource. The house currently has a Scantronic 9800 which I removed & reinstalled (with new sensors & cabling) during an extension 9 years ago - works fine. I have built a detached garage with playroom above and want to wirelessly link 2 PIR + 2 smoke detectors to the house alarm - don't really want battery powered detectors though. Cooper Security recommended 703R & 762 but didn't really want to talk to me as not a pro installer. I will also be needing another keypad for the system. What do you recommend please. hi brought honeywell informa a while ago along with accenta g4 package. the problem is i can get the infroma to ring out in engineers mode but when the alarm is activated (set off) to see if it rings out it doesn't. the only time it works is when there is no power to the alarm mains or battery. i have connected the dialer to it dedicated connection and also to the +/- and the bell - but either way it still doesn't work. any ideas.
