Hello, I have a Scantronic system consisting of a 9448 end station and 9427 RKP. I wish to add a further RKP and the only RKP apparently available is 9427EUR-80. Is this suitable?

My system is now indicating \"trouble\"...\"AC failure...fuse failure\" The ac is connected and the supply is good. the manual says the powermax has 2 internal fuses that automatically reset. But still the trouble message is there. I am assuming its now running on the battery and will be dead within the next day. please help.

Hello, I would be grateful if you could help me in any way with my problem as outlined as follows. My son has recently moved into a house with an existing burgular alarm. Unfortunately, the alarm control box doesn't have any manufacturers name or address. The only markings on the front of the box is what appears to be "9448". The original owners didn't leave any details regarding the alarm and we are unable to contact them. Hi & thanks for providing this great resource. The house currently has a Scantronic 9800 which I removed & reinstalled (with new sensors & cabling) during an extension 9 years ago - works fine. I have built a detached garage with playroom above and want to wirelessly link 2 PIR + 2 smoke detectors to the house alarm - don't really want battery powered detectors though. Cooper Security recommended 703R & 762 but didn't really want to talk to me as not a pro installer. I will also be needing another keypad for the system. What do you recommend please. hi brought honeywell informa a while ago along with accenta g4 package. the problem is i can get the infroma to ring out in engineers mode but when the alarm is activated (set off) to see if it rings out it doesn't. the only time it works is when there is no power to the alarm mains or battery. i have connected the dialer to it dedicated connection and also to the +/- and the bell - but either way it still doesn't work. any ideas.

Property currently has an ADE Accenta 8 Mini fitted, but want to replace with Optima Compact Gen4 as something has blown on the 8 Mini PCB... system is 10 years old, will the current (s)elf ©ontrolled (B)ell work with this newer Optima Compact Gen4? Does the Optima Compact Gen4 come with backup battery or is this a seperate purchase? And finally, has anyone any opinions on this alarm or have a link to the wiring for it please? Dear Support, Would you know the jumper settings for a Risco Gardtec 595 / 800 Series Zone Expander card? There is a bank of 8 called ZEX1 through to ZEX8, J9 (ZEX Type) and J10 (ZEX Group). Hi 1. What PIR detectors are included in the Risco Wireless Wisdom Kit? RWT92? 2. Informative stickers (informning the possible burglar of the alarm), are such included or can they be bought separately? 3. Could you give me some advice regarding Risco's Wisdom and the Powermax+? Sorry all you good people out there, to ask these questions , but I do not know whether it is I who is Dim or could the Electronics actually be at fault ?. When I try to register the keyfobs under other devices and I go to arming station I am asked to activate the tamper , A Is this the correct section to be in . B As there is no tamper do I just press any button or what. Also with regard to the Tag I am supposed to offer this up to the top left of the panel . I am in the arming station section but nothing is reacting. Again am I in the correct section and is there any way of verifying the Tag is working. I have proved that the Fobs are working by …

We have a Eurosec LCD panel intruder alarm in our house which we dont use, but there are 2 panic alarms in the house (little white box with red button on top and a little keyhole on the front), which are set to green so we assume are active (we havent tested as we have no keys to turn off?!?!). Does anyone know if you can buy replacment keys as my daughter is getting big enough that she is bound to press it soon and we are worried we wont be able to turn it off !! We would like to de-activate these alarms.
