hi i had a scantronic 9448+ style installed a number of years ago which has worked perfectly, but since the main fuse was knocked, the mains light on the panel does not illuminate and the panel does not power up. However, there is now a couple of lights on behind the keypad, which had all gone off after the main fuse was knocked out.  Also, after the main fuse was knocked out there was a few weak noises from the panel...these have since stopped.

Even trying to key in our code, there is no audible sound or any changes to the state of lifelessness.

Can you advise us on how to remedy this problem, or suggest a 'like for like' replacement?

have you checked the main fuse in the actual control panele end station??(big scantronic box)

 

There is a mains fuse on the PCB. It should be next to two other fuses.Also remove the battery and get a replacement.If not, change all the fuses and see if it will power up on a battery
