Hey,

 

My old ademco accord has stopped working due to the transformer being broken.

 

I am now looking to install a new system myself using existing wiring etc, but I'm not sure what system would be most suited and easiest to install. I am thinking of either Texecom VERITAS R8 or the Scantronic 9448.

 

Any advice, tips or help would be appreciated.

    Either of these systems are easy to install and will run on your wiring that you have now, the Veritas is larger in size both panel and remote keypad, but they will both do a great job

    I would reccommend an Accenta G4 with LCD keypad, fantastic system to use and much more friendly to use and more functions to cater to your requirements. I have one installed in my house and ive not had one problem.

     

    Securitywarehouse have a good price on the unit too!!
