Intruder Alarms

Please can anyone help with the following re. Intruder Alarm system Scantronic 9800+. (9827) In brief, there is a code showing as bF which I understand through d/loading the User manual means: battery fault on the control panel. The alarm has been going off several times a day for nearly a week and I disconnected the ringer several days ago but am too worried to open up the control panel in case it then goes off again and I can't press the code to stop the noise once the faccia is removed. Hi I have a securilite alarm system fitted with the IBX Command centre in the house which has Single head PIR sensor outside to cover the drive way, the sensor has failed and i cannot see any part numbers on the sensor and i am unsure which one to order from you, it looks identical to the voltek sensors you list but which one ? would the Voltek 1804 single head sensor be suitable for this with the range of 18m x 90 degree angle ? Do you have any motion sensors with two contact sets ? So that it is possible to use one contact for alarm, and one for home automation ?

Hi, I have been looking to buy accessories for Visonic Powermaster 10G system of which I already have a panel and some accessories bought in Sweden. On many accessories it says "will only work with UK panels". Is this actually the case that I would not be able to get these to work with a panel bought in Sweden (sounds strange that Visonic would manufacture special equipment for UK only?)?

Could you advise me if Excel and R8 Panels are basically the same and if not the difference between them and are they programmed the same way?

Hi I need to replace my current wired alarm system.. I have a mains wired alarm with wired connections. I have a couple of PIR's that are wired, which I see no reason to replace as the cables are hidden. I would like to add additional pirs wireless. I can see execom Kit 3 32 Zone Self-Contained Wireless Kit which looks like it can take 4 wired zones. So I could install this on my current set-up and add wirless pir's to additional rooms. I have a couple of questions. How is the alarm disabled. Is it on the control panel? I see it comes with 2xPremier Elite SmartKey. What exactly is this? Hi, My G2-20 is set to EOL and all the other sensors I have purchased from you have had EOL built-in. I guess the Activ8 BG I purchased does not. Can you confirm how I should wire this to my Honeywell Galaxy G2 panel. I have two zones spare that I'd like to use for the motion and the break glass feature of the Activ8. I guess I need to wire a 1k resistor between two of the terminals but not sure which ones. Terminal 1 & 2 - Tamper T 3 & 4 - R-PIR (normally closed) T 5 - EOL T 6 & 7 - R-MIC (normally closed) T 8 - +12v T 9 - GND Many thanks.

Hi, I already have a Galaxy G2-44 with : 2 Keyprox - MK7 & MK8 1 RF Portal - C079-2 1 Internal siren 5 wireless motion sensors - Honeywell DTPI8M 4 wireless door contacts - Honeywell DO8M 6 wireless Smoke Sensors - Honeywell DF8M 2 Wireless CO sensors - Honeywell CO8M I want to add a Honeywell ECO1005-A to this system as there is not a wireless heat-rising sensor for this system that I can find. First, it's wired so will it work OK with the wireless sensors or will there be any conflicts? Also, do I need a latching or non-latching base for this? Hope you can help and thanks,

I am interested in buying a Premier Elite 48 panel from you and see that it comes with 8 Zones as standard. I understand that there are expansion slots in the panel to add more zones each slot in card gives an additional 8 zones. My installation will require around 28 Zones in total, so my questions are: How many expansion slots are there in the Elite 48 Panel before having to go to an external Expansion Module? Does Texecom produce a 16 Zone internal card or only 8 Zone? If I have to use an external module, is this powered from the main panel or will I require an addition Power Supply? What configuration will I need to have 32 Zones in total which will give me some …

I bought from yourselves about 2 years ago an Optima Compact Gen 4. following a burglary my insurance co are now insisting my alarm meets the above standards. Does this panel meet the above standard's, if not can you suggest one that does.

Hi, I am installing a Honeywell G2-20 alarm system at my home. I currently have two iWise 800QG3 movement sensors and am looking at installing an additional four to the system.
