The powermax needs an PSTN or POTS tel line. Id expect some issues trying to use it through a VOIP converter.

yes i would suggest it is due to the pebble dash. There is an adjustment screw on the rear of the unit for the rear tamper. You will need to adjust this until the button is pressed fully in when fitted to the wall. Easist way to remove the 'alarm in memory' is just to set the system (ie leave the property and arm in the normal way) then unset. Any previous alarms will then be reset. SUpport
