I installed a system a year ago which I purchased from you and it seems to have developed a fault. Initially when a walk test was done it wouldnt identify some of the zones and then removed the cover from the unit and I cannot get rid of the cover tamper warning so cannot set the system. Do you think the control unit has gone U/S. steve

I have installed the gen4 alarm and then have just bought a extra keypad to add on to the system. I had a led keypad which I have know used up stairs,and the new keypad is a LCD which is down stairs. do you have to stick to just led keypads or can you mix led with LCD. when I wired it in it blew the fuse on the board and the battery fuse blew,I replaced the fusees and the transformer got rely warm,also came up with tamper fault lockout on keypad.I then disconnected the led keypad,and left the new LCD keypad connected to the system.the system now has no power to it,but still works on the battery power.have checked the wiring several times through the process but cant explain what's going wrong. would appreciate help on how to solve the problem.

Please can you clarify whether it is possible to have the Receiver and the Transmitter running on/from different power supplies. We have asituation where the alarm power supply cannot be supplied to the transmitter but can be to the receiver, so in theory it will function. If it is possible, do you have such a power supply - we assume a plug in transformer will do.

As a property developer I'm looking to install a Videx 4 button surface mounted door entry with 4 no handsets and a main entrance electronic door release catch/plate. Please advise me of the cost and availability asap. Note it would be useful to have the vandal resistant external 4 button entry point.

my neighbour has an old ati 6000 alarm system, he has the box under the stairs with a piezo buzzer next to power then 2 wires one to bell and one to keypad at door with 3 wireless PIR's. i was thinking of changing it over to ADE Honeywell Accenta Mini Gen4 with LCD Keypad and a new bell box, but can this unit support wireless pir's with a receiver addon? could you detail kit required and price. CP, Keypad, Bellbox, 3 x wireless PIR's, wireless receiver?

I have a btp device on my front gate which is designed to ring inside the house and then allow voice contact between any of three interior stations and the gate. There is then a system to open the gate and allow access to the person ringing the bell. Over time, ants, water and sun have damaged the external part and I would like to buy a replacement. there is a number on the back of the interior unit: 32009597 and then E/220. Is it possible to identify the device from these? If not where would I find the right nunber?

We install CCTV systems. A customer has asked for a CCTV surveillance system installed, covering their two property entrances. The main vehicle entrance is about 80m from the house, with an automated rolling metal gate. We propose a high quality IR dome camera here. Power is available via mains power available in the gate operation box. The second entrance is an automated door 25m from the house. Do you supply transmitters/receivers for both needs (weather proof housings required), the receivers to be ideally placed near the DVD. Signal will go through one if not two walls line of sight to both transmittion areas. Advice and prices sought.

Although the IS215T & Quest are popular sensors they would not be compatible with the Scantronic 500+ control panel. However, the Scantronic 520r would be compatible.

The 800L does come complete with an LED key pad and PCB

I have put this on the forum before and never got a reply, so please help. Hi, I am told with this system, powermax plus, I can get Pir's to hard wire. I want to hard wire 3 Pir's, but see only 2 hard wire zones. What pir's can I use for hard wire please, and are there pet friendly ones ? Which hard wired external alarm can I buy with this ? Are all batteries included with the system please ? Wanting to buy the visonic plus control panel, 5 wireless door contacts, brown colour, 2 wireless pet tolerant pir's, 1 hard wired pir, 1 wired external alarm, 1 dummy alarm box, and 2 key fobs. Can you give me the best options kit wise, and cheapest way of buying these, and total costs please , ASAP

Hi, I need support with my powermax plus control panel, I have had my system working fine for around 11 months. I am having trouble disarming the system with the panels keypad, i get to 3 digits and then it just beeps. I have changed the code and it is still happening. All the buttons seem to work fine and i can disarm ok with the keyfob. Can you provide a solution or where i need to go for help? Or do i need a replacement panel?Many Thanks
