I am assembling the individual components of the Optima 4 kit minus the SAB strobe. I am substituting the Odyssey 3E, as I already have the diamond shaped cover. I have found all the components but not an exact match for 2.1Ah battery and surface door contact - could you advise which battery model and which surface contact model I should order?

Hi there, many thanks for your response. [Depends on the sensors you have. What vibration sensors do you have now, and how many detectors in total is there?] The vibration shock sensors have 'Itec' written on them, white in colour and are approx 2cm x 2cm x 5cm. There is no other writing on them - I can send you a photograph if it helps. The house is fitted with 12 of the vibration shock sensors with 2 door opening sensors. Thanks again for your help. Regards

I have a domestic Itec Horizon alarm system with shock sensors wired on every window and door sensors on the front and back door. The systen does not use PIR's. The main Horizon box has developed a fault and I understand these are quite old now and no longer available. Can you tell me what a modern equivalent system is that would be compatible with the existing installation - ie the window and door sensors and the price?

[Ticket Question] Help with Ion 40 system design
securitywarehouse posted a topic in Intruder Alarms
I'm interested to buy from you a complete set of alarm system for my house. i want it to consist from a good expendable control panel so i chose the scantronics ion40. I'm building a new house so i did all the provisions needed for wired installation. my system will consists of: 10 magnetic contacts for doors/windows 5 passive infrared detectors 2 smoke detectors 3 keypads 1 internal and 1 external siren The thing is that i'll try to install it myself so i'll need help as much as possible. -when i buy the ion40 system it comes with 1 keypad already and i'll have to buy 2 more or is something different so i must buy 3? -i read the specs of ion40 and is only supporting 1 wired siren. is this true? i have to buy the second one wireless? -about the magnetic contacts. i chose Elmdene. i allready bought from u 2 samples to see them how i can use them exactly. i bought QFC and QSC. the thing i'm wondering is that they are enviromental class 3 and the systems supports class 2. is it compatible? also i ordered with red resistor(for scantronics control panel). what are the difference between the ones i ordered and from QFT? what is terminal and cabled contact? what is the purpose of the cable pre installed on the grade's 3? how is the installation procedure for them. please advice me on this matter... - Are all scantronics PIR's (wired) compatible with this system? - What kind of panic attack buttons should i buy? wired or not? -
we are looking to fit a wireless alram to a five bed house where we will have 10+ zones, would like a keypad by the main door, so need one where the main control panel can be more like an end station. would also like to be able to control via mobile phone when away. which good quality system would you recomend

I am interested in buying an ACT 5 proximity reader for door control and was wondering whether the fob of my scantronic 9651 with 9943 keypad would work with this. This would mean I would only have to carry the one fob to open the door and set/reset the alarm. According to page 28 of the 9651 installation manual "You can use any industry standard ISO tag or card with the 9943 keypad" so I would guess the ACT and scantronic fobs are compatible but wondered whether you could confirm this please.

I purchased a Aritech 4 zone analyser from your company to find it does not work correctly i.e you can bang on the window HARD around 20 times and the analyser will only just trigger and that is on max sensitivity. 2nd i never got instructions with the unit just wiring diagram and also your advert on your website tells you so many things that this unit will do but clearly it wont like pulse count adjustment and LED indicator. The only unit which does all this is the single channel GS615 which i have used for 15 years. Can you please tell me where we are to go from here as i need a working system and you seem to be the only people who sell 4 zone. Could some one please contact me by telephone please to try resolve this issue.

I'd be most grateful for your assistance. I have a GJD security light system which was installed by the previous owners of our house approximately 8 years ago. It is installed in two separate circuits for the front and rear of the house. The front system is still working properly but the rear system with three flood lights started to work in the day time as well as the evening but now has a random fault so more than often it doesn't react at all in the day or evening to intruder testing and only occasionally works properly. The lights all work when I over-ride the sensors to switch them on. I am assuming, rightly or wrongly, that one or more of the three sensors in the rear circuit aren't working properly? One is a GJD OPAL XL and the other two are GJD 22 - MK2D units. I see from your web site that I can still acquire the XL unit but can find no reference to the other unit. I am thinking of replacing all the units as a possible solution but need to know what I replace the MK2D units with? I'd be grateful for your very valued advice please.
