my neighbour has an old ati 6000 alarm system, he has the box under the stairs with a piezo buzzer next to power then 2 wires one to bell and one to keypad at door with 3 wireless PIR's.

 

i was thinking of changing it over to ADE Honeywell Accenta Mini Gen4 with LCD Keypad and a new bell box, but can this unit support wireless pir's with a receiver addon?

 

could you detail kit required and price.

    The ATI is indeed an old system and the wireless detectors will not be compatible with any other manufacturers equipment.Why not have a look at the Scantronic ion 16 , with wired keypad and bellbox , they have a range of wireless detectors.
