  1. Steve. There are a few external sensors that i think will fit your req, and i use these on my own HA system at home. http://www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=441 these have clean relays i have attached the user manual elite.pdf
  2. Most fire panels work at 24v DC. The SD1 is designed for intruder panels and is a 12v unit. Some panels do indeed have a 12v output, but not all. I would have to check the docs for this one. It is usual to signal a fire signal via something with a proven path, ie not a speech dialler. It is done though. Support
  3. the 9651 has 4 set modes, A B C and D You can program your circuits and part set routines etc as one of these groups. You can then select a sounder option for each group so for example if you used A as All and B as bed you could program A as full sounders, and B as internal sounders only. SUpport
  4. the pot will only adjust the entry exit tones. TO confirm do you have a single 16 Ohm speaker or something else? The easiest way to quieten it a bit is to add a series resistor. This will however make all tones quieter. Another option is to use a 32 Ohm speaker etc rather than a 16 Ohm. a 32Ohm is usually a smaller unit and as such quite a lot quieter. Tech Support
  5. A door contact does not need power, so you shouldnt have anything connected to the aux. Id suggest you disconnect the tamper to confirm it isnt that. Do you have a picture of both ends showing how its wired. James
  6. nick There isnt an idiots kit as you put it, but it is entirly possible. Id start with a gjd or voltek lighting system and add the detectors required. Alternativly you cold start with a normal intruder alarm control panel and add the required detectors. Suport
  7. earlee Im sorry we cant detail how to wipe a panel on a public forum. I can only really suggest you find a local installer to do this for you. Support
  8. Dave Im sorry about that we would of just repackaged the warranty repair unit from panasonic. However hopefully the attached will be of use. BLC10-setup.zip
  9. I dont understand the question The silver connections should be connected to the zone. As the manual shows. How do you have it wired?
  10. Assuming its a std door contact with 2 silver screws and 3 brass Then the 2 silver connections should be connected directly to the zone. And the tamper circuit is created by twisting the wires together and connecting to a brass screw.
  11. Dave The pc link and software is the sticking point. I would suggest you have a look at this http://www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=27_31&products_id=1518 instead. You can link them together and if you connect a 485 lead to it then it has full software linkups. There is the basic free software with logging etc, but act alsohave full time and attendance software. http://www.accesscontrol.ie/index.php?page=catalog&cPath=16_95 You can then start of with the basic free software and expand the system, and or upgrade the software as required. 12. Bob Im afraid we havnt got any. You may find that an installer that frequents here may have one, but i fear you may struggle. Support
  13. Neil The bluelines are available in other frequencies but they are designed for different countries. All modern dualtecs can be overlapped and freq seperation is less of an issue as it once was. The only manufacturer to have different freq of the same model as far as i know is Pyronix. Support
  14. Hi, I'm looking to purchase three of these detectors: Bosch Blue Line ISM-BLD1-P Pet Friendly TriTech Detector I see from your site and the spec sheet that they are manufactured in three different frequencies. If I order three, are you able to supply three different frequencies? Three different frequencies would be ideal as the location of each detector may mean that their coverage may overlap. I'm looking to place my order for these and seven other PIRs ASAP as I'm due to start installation on Friday. Many thanks in advance, Neil.
  15. Hi Adrian, The 8SP399SA does not have this option on the panel, the only way you can get it to operate this way is to order a seperate speech dailer, the ADE Informa is made by the same supplier if you wanted to keep it that way, I hope this as answered your query, please do not hesiate to ask, if you need anything further Kind regards Elaine However the Risco Eurosec CPX does have a built in dialler http://www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=579
  16. Hi just a quick question does the above control panel come with the ability to call or text you if your alarm has been activated or do you have to buy extra parts? As screwfix are advertising it comes with Voice alerts up to 3 telephone numbers when alarm is activated.
  17. Hi Carl, Yes we have these in stock on the website Hope this is ok for you Kind regards Elaine http://www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=643
  18. i have a 2 zone touch control 12v 120ma power supply unit with the code gjd exp mk4 printed on the board, it is only putting out 4/5 volts do you have these in stock. thanks Carl
  19. Ok now i dont understand. If you have spare zones why do you want to zone split? If you dont have spare zones, does the system have more than 1 door contact, could you series those onto the same circuit to free one up? or replace an existing sensor with a latching one?
  20. Hi Duncan Both of these units will be ok with the older controller Hope this answers your question Regards Elaine
  21. Can you please tell me which one of these two products, GJD Mini Opal External PIR or Opal XL 12V PIR 35 m works with an older version of a GJD controller - it has a 6 wire configuration. The old ones - have disintegrated lenses due to UV light - they have GJD on the inside of the housings and they have a pan-tilt PIR but no model number if this helps. I've looked on your site regarding the new types of controllers which are very similar to the type that have been installed. Once I know if either are compatible I will need to order.
  22. Hi Tom I am afriad that this panel is not available any more, so I can not help you with a replacement remote key pad at this time Regards Elaine
