Id advise using a specialist installer for fire. Especially if this is a HMO type property.
Yes the panel will take 2 x 2.1-2.3 A/h batterys
You need to use a fire proof cable. This will depend on the spec requirements and install method ie.

note there isnt currently a co sensor for twinflex.
ZOnes
The panel in this kit is a 2 zone panel. If you need 3 zones you will require a 4 zone panel.
It must be connected to the mains.
If this is an insurance / council requirement then you need to speak to a recognised installer.
No
It requires the line to be in tact. You would need a proper dualpath signalling device such as redcare or dualcom.
Some of the basic features of these systems are in the menvier sd3
Yes it does have a prox keypad. No it doesnt come with any fobs. Just order the number you need.

the bx 80n has 2 detectors at 180 degrees, but it wont cover 180 degs.
The only unit i know of is the voltek 1811

If it is faulty then you can return it. But id verify it is indeed faulty before sedning it back.
As above id check that the tamper switches are closed, that the sabt is correctly wired into the panel, and that you have a voltage on the bell trigger (0v) when the bell shoudl be activating
Those different freq are for different countries. We only stock the UK model. Im there was a volume order we could order them in, but we have a minimum order and the uk market for other freq would be very limited.
I would suggest you have programmed the codes incrorrectly somehow.
You can default the codes. If you check the manaul it will tell you how.
Alternativly if you let me know your order number ill send the procedure to your account email.
Tech
You will need to take an output from the panel. What inputs doe you have to trigger the shutter, id assume the shutter is designed to be held open by the fire alarm normally.
I would suggest you use the aux fire output on the panel. What panel is it?
