If you want to know if the act 3000 will accept more than 1000 users then yes. It can handle 30,000 users However if you want to integrate this inot your existing club system then im afraid I cant help. You can use the software etc to connect to the unit via a pc and chnage the pins etc.

[Ticket Question] Can you help me fix my current alarm?
Secware_Tech6 replied to securitywarehouse's topic in Intruder Alarms
Hi Its impossibel to know if new batts will help or not. It really depends on what is wrong with it. If they are 12 years old then they will definetly need replacing. Its a similar question to 'My car doesnt work, will a new x help?' A bettery will only help if you have power issues. If the system has never been serviced then the battery will be shot. A totally failed battery can and does damage the panel. So you may have other issues etc. Again a difficult one to answer. If they are high end units then i would probably keep, but at 12 years old if they arnt high end units i would replace. Decent sensors are available now for -
[Ticket Question] Are these products compatible?
Secware_Tech6 replied to securitywarehouse's topic in Intruder Alarms
the free wave unit is a wireless unit, which will only work on the freewave system. you need a normal door contact for that panel not a wireless one. support -
Thats one way to do it. 507 listed here http://www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=2218

Yes you can flush mount it, and thats what its designed for. As far as i know there isnt aq surface housing for it. I would always recommend using a bigger psu than 1A for the system and locking. its a bit close but in theory should be fine.

If you have more than 3 handsets connected with conventional wiring then the call volume will be lower as the load will be greater. Eventually if you had enough handsets the call wouldnt work at all and damage may result. ALso the 506/n is a relay. Im unsure how you could use it as a call generator as it doesnt have those outputs. James

bpt and videx have slightly different cabling layouts, so id initially say it wouldnt work, however i do know that heir telephone adapoter does work in most cases (ie videx one on bpt) Obviously this isnt supported so YMMV I dont know of as videx call booster, but you could use multiple tone generators or ac calling then you wouldnt have an issue.

[Ticket Question] Videx Phone Entry - wiring?
Secware_Tech6 replied to securitywarehouse's topic in Access Control
Please see the attached diagram Note this doesnt have a clean switched output on it so you will need an ac relay to give you clean swicthes for your operator. -
If you want to use an appollo or similar detector ie http://www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=38_39&products_id=217 these are designed for conventional fire alarm panels. However you can use a 12v base with these and other series 65 heads ie http://www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=36_40&products_id=2076 But id normally use a menvier m12 ie http://www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=638
