  1. Id advise a menvier M12 http://www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=638 this will allow programming in the sensor as to which type of detection to use, ie heat/ smoke etc
  2. That panel is the onboard keypad variant and does not come with a remote keypad, however it will accept upto 2 remote keypads. The blank end station variant does come with a keypad as it doesnt have an onboard one.
  3. The sensors are the same worldwide apart from the frequencies. As long as your panel is 868 then a visonic 868MHz will be fine. The language is not user programmable.
  4. Have you already exported the footage to a usb drive? Or are you trying to pull the footage from the dvr?
  5. No that wont fit inside the case. You need a 2.1-2.3 A/h. the long thin one.
  6. If you let me know the order number ill send one with a different compression setting. James
  7. No. WHile some of the components are grade 2, the control panel isnt. You will need to use something like the castle euro mini or scantronic 9651 for grade 2 compliance.
  8. Wireless wise you will have to order 500r parts of the correct freq to match your panel. So yes. bellbox wise the 500r will accept any hard wired bell. So to suit your bdget etc. Support
  9. It wouldnt be something we stock currently but we will be able to get them as a special order.
  10. Same size as a normal brick, but wall mountable instead of being the plug in variety
  11. Yes the new keypad is backwards compatible with the older panel
  12. The powermax comes with a wall mount transformer. The powering (mains) is flying lead. So yes you can direct into a spur or fit a plug and plug it in.
  13. yes. It's best imho to have only a device per zone. This will then allow easy identification of the device that alarmed etc. You will wire the circuit pair ie zone 2 to the alarm pair in the detector.
  14. In what way? If you mean it can be unplugged then yes it could. But you shouldnt plug them in anyway. They should be hard wired into a spur. But any proper panel has battery backup so if your burglar unplugged it he would have to waut a minimum of 12 hours for the panel to go flat. Then if your remote signalling the panel would send a low battery before dying. If its audible only the sounder would sound once the panel died. All that assumes it installed and configured correctly
  15. A wireless expander is to allow you to put wireless detectors onto a wired panel. (as a rule) it will not in itself wirelessly communicate with the panel. I would suggest a hybrid panel, say a galaxy 2-20 or a scantronic with wired detectors on the one side and wirelss the other. But you may need more stable detectors on the wireless side. If so honeywell do a wireless dualtech for the galaxy range.
  16. Andy. Id say she was spam. Either way ive dropped the account.
  17. Agreed. Any hard wired PIR will do the job. Depends on the environment. Good basic general purpose Pir. Honeywell IS215
  18. http://www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=2238 See here
  19. Maybe one of these? http://www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=2236
  20. the galaxy 2-20 has a built in modem for text messaging on a std tel line. This will text as you need.
  21. Id agree, i wouldnt connect the mag direct to these outputs. Plus you may need an additional psu to run the lock. A relay would be the best way.
  22. agreed. It will require an internal sounder. Id use the secware 16 Ohm speaker
  23. That unit is a transmitter unit only. The sounders would connect to the reciever / control panel
