  3. Hi, I'm interested in purchasing your product 166/173 (Visonic MCM-140). Before I do can you tell me if this is the 868mhz version?

  4. I am replacing my old alarm system. I have done some research and it appears Scantronic are a good make in terms of functionality and reliability and come recomended from a colleague who has installed them previously. I have a wired sounder at present and want to maintain the wired asoect if possible. I'm looking at: i-on16 Control Panel (1) 714 Wireless PIR (6) Wireless door contacts - brown (2) Compatible wired sounder or the wireless one for i-on16 Please advise if the above are all compatable and what is my best option for a sounder. Also would the wireless PIR work in my detached garage? It's approximately10 metres from the control panel location.

  5. Just instaled the panel, remote key pad and sounder and pirs. Firstly the instructions didn't match the sounder terminals with the panel but I think I may have sorted it know but the proble I have is as soon as I connect the sounder battery jumper the sounder goes off this happens with the panel wired and powered on fully disconnected from the panel. I have the system up and running if I put itI into alarm I get nothing from the main sounder sound or strobe but the sounder in the remote key pad sounds Please can you help?

  6. Can you help with my optima compact 8ep 396a? When setting the alarm i cannot set a program ie part set( prog 2 ) it defaults to prog 1.

Hi, I'm after some advice on my Accenta G4 system, as with most good DIY project a purchased it a few months ago and only reently got round to fitting it (a wedding got in the way). Anyway i've installed it and powered the system up and two issues occur. 1) There is no power on light on the system or the key pad (or any light on any of the sensors). 2) Although the key pad (and alarm) operates (i'm assuming from the battery), when i enter the security code on the kep pad it says tamper lockout. Now i can accept that there may be a tamper fault somewhere but i wondering first whether its all related to the power problem and whether there is perhaps a f…

  9. My internal sounder registered fine with the domonial control panel, and on viewing through engineering mode always registers a high signal (7/10) However, whenever I set (full or part) the alarm, typically every other time I get the 'INT SOUNDER RADIO LINK' error. I've configured the system to ignore these errors and set regardless without requiring confirmation - but my worry is there is a fault which might mean the sounder does not go off in case of intrusion. Last week I tried changing the batteries (on the off-chance the batteries supplied were low given the packaging was open), but this did not solve the problem. The positioning of the sounder is very cl…

  13. Would you be able to stock the klaxon H sires value back plate and covers as i have been using this type of external sounder. I would normally order 40 - 50 covers at a time which would be screen printed for free and 20 live plates is this something that you could arrange?

  14. But I wonder about the price for Visonic Powermax Pro? Do you have Visonic Powermax complete as well and if so what's the price for it? If I order two complete alarm systems with accessories, is it possible to get any kind of discount? Do I need to change anything else except the power connection to get it working in Sweden?

  15. I am looking to purchase some CQR FreeWave products and you have the 240v Interface and Keyfobs, but the 3 channel module. Is this something you can source and what is the price please?

  16. Subject says it all really: I've installed a Scantronic 9651EN-43 into an existing "wired" house and extended the system using the Visonic MCT-302/MCR-308R wireless system. I've linked the Visonic zone output into the 9651 zones and also linked the anti-tamper into the main loop as well. The Visonic can send a low battery warning and I need some suggestions as to how the 9651 can handle this? Obviously, it needs to bring the warning to the home owner's attention, but it can't prevent setting the system or set off a full-blown alarm if it occurs whilst the system is set. Many thanks for your assistance!
