[Ticket Question] Help with an Odyssey 1E bell box
"Andy, thanks. I noticed last night that the alternating led's were working, but seemed to be very faint, but that could have been because it wasn't very dark. I deliberately activated the alarm last night and the external sounder tried to go but then continued in a very muted form. The internal sounder on the control panel works ok as does the dialler. Is there any way of confirming whether it's the external sounder or control panel that's faulty?"

[Ticket Question] Help with an Odyssey 1E bell box
"Andy Thanks for your response. I've been away for a couple of days hence the delay in replying. It is the bright strobe that flashes, the one that flashes about 6 times when the alarm is set. Come to think of it, I've not seen the alternating strobes flash recently. It's difficult to explain about the sounder, but it's as if it's trying but just can't get going."

[Ticket Question] Advice for an Alarm System to Cover 3 room workshop
I am looking to alarm my workshop. It consists of 3 rooms currently with plans to add another room in the future. There are 2 up and over doors, 1 standard access door and 1 double split opening door. 2 of these doors will be entry points with a keypad located close by. Only one of the rooms has a window. There is a cat flap in one of the doors for pet access. I have been looking on your website and come up with the following list of products for the system based around a Honeywell Accenta G4 Mini panel. I chose this panel because of price and expandability. Can you tell me if all the items on the list below are compatible ? Is there anything missing from the list that I need to include ? Would you recommend against this system with a different one in mind ? Any advice gratefully received. 1 x ADE Honeywell Accenta Mini Gen4 with LCD Keypad 1 x Honeywell ADE LED Keypad for Optima G3/Gen4 or Accenta G3/Gen4 1 x Secware 12v 2.2A/h Value Alarm Battery 1 x Honeywell ActiveGuard AG6 External Siren Blue. Inc White Cover 1 x SECWARE 16 Ohm Internal Speaker 3 x Honeywell Activ8 PIR - Single Channel 18m Quad Element Pet PIR 1 x SECWARE A40 5 Terminal Flush Contact 4 x SECWARE D20 Surface Contact 1 x Secware 6 core Intruder Alarm Cable

[Ticket Question] Help with an Odyssey 1E bell box
I have the above as part of my alarm system. The external sounder does not seem to be operating although it seems to try. The strobe lights still flash when the system is set. I assume this is something to do with the piezo in the unit rather than a fuse. The unit is about 5 years old. If I buy the back plate will that come with everything I need to replace the sounder and is it likely that the fixings will line up or has the design been changed?

[Ticket Question] Bosch & Phillips cameras, are they the same?
You are currently selling Bosch eazyo cameras are they the same as the Phillips Reo cameras (they look identical). My original system is phillips reo with the vcr replaced by a bosch eazyo dvr. Both systems were made in portugal and look identical, so i am assuming that they are the same.

[Ticket Question] Can you recommend a wireless system with text messaging?
Hi, I\\\'m after a reliable wireless system, 5 zones down stairs one of which is a gargae, 1 zone upstairs but a pir would not be suitable in this area. The sounds to be wireless operated but mains powered. I\\\'d prefer a keypad activation & deactivation. Also is there a posibility it can notfiy you via text if your alarm is going off.
