Hi: The LCD keypad should be fully backward compatible to your old system. As far as I know the only problem would be if you tried to add the LCD keypad as an extra to a system running 1 of the Icon keypads, if your using it as a replacement for your old keypad it should be a direct replacement.

NB: Please make sure you fully remove power from your system before attempting the change, i've seen several systems where this has'nt been done & it can lead to a complete new panel.
