  1. You really should look at the Powermax bell, the AG^ would be compatible with hard wired, panels
  2. Hi Nigel It is generally not the cost of the floodlights that you should consider, but the switching/control equipment, look at the GJD or the Voltek, they will both take more than one PIR, as for the brightness that will depend on the size of the bulb you fit, most come these days with 400Watt but if you wanted to you could fit a lower wattage. Both companies are external lighting manufacturers, so the equipment will have IP ratings Hope this helps you come to a decision

  19. The forum, is an open forum for other members to answer questions as and when they wish to, if they have knowledge and can reply. It also allows other installers to give opinions of equipment they have used and found to be worth while so there are unbaised opinions
  20. I believe that there is a factory set zone for the entry exit route. the Garage PIR should be on an Intruder zone, although we would not recommend a PIR for a harsh environment like a garage, we would suggest you use a dual Tech to prevent false alarms. If you have never fitted an alarm before try using the panel on a desk to see how the zones work, and to see that the panel is working correctly before you put it on the wall and wire anything into it. Then you will know that any zone problems are to do with the cabling etc, and be quite confident in your fault finding. Your installation manual should be a great aid. Hope this helps
