  1. You will need to choose 12 v smoke detectors for your scantronic control panel
  2. We would need your order number to identify the age of your Digi view 4, as there are currently 3 models of software for this unit, and it is model range specific. Let us know and we will help you sort it
  3. You need to ensure that the smoke detectors you choose to go with your perferred control panel, is 12v not 24v, Intruder alarm systems run on 12v, where as Fire alarm systems run on 24v, and you can not mix the two
  4. Hi Ravis We do not at the moment offer a next day delivery service, we state that most orders leave us within 72 hours. Sometimes it can take us longer depending on volume of orders, staff availability etc., As your order is still being gathered from our other stores, before being ready here for despatch, regretfully it will not be with you tomorrow, as you are proabably aware Saturday delivery is an extra cost option. We usually use the on line ticket system for queries and returns etc., it is often a quicker response to questions, as we do not monitor the forum as often as the tickets Let us know if you do not want the order to be processed and we can refund your payment
  5. You should also ensure that fixing the detector to the door/window does not invalidate any warrenty your window company has supplied
  6. If you have damaged the pcb you will probably be able to see the tracking on the rear of the board, (burning) I am not aware of a fix for this other than a new board, but perhaps other forum users will be able to help
  7. What do you have on zone 1 the entry/exit zone?
  8. What are you expecting it to do??

  12. regretfully after asking around, we can not find an answer to this query, sorry Skelley

  15. Currently (June 2011) we are setting forum membership to be approved before new members can post. Regretfully we have had to initiate this due to the heavy amount of spammers that have been registering on the site. Spammers are now being rejected as members. We do hope that this does not cause genuine members too much inconvenience
  16. We have only this month starting stocking this item, and we only ordered a small amount, so we are not holding old stock.
  17. I take it you have tried changing the battery??
  18. If the wires to your bell are cut, and a SAB is fitted, then the external bell will sound when the wires are cut, but external cabling to the bell should be inside the building or protected in conduit
  19. Sorry we can not give information on a public forum as to how to disable an alarm, you could get quotes from your local alarm companies.
  20. The Honeywell tags work with Honeywell equipment, but will need programming in, to use the plastic tags you will need a tag reader either as an addition or built into your keypad. As you have mentioned radio fobs, I am unsure you will have a reader in your system, please check to ensure you do before thinking of using these tags
  21. I would recommend you use either Visonic or Scannie equipment and not mix them
  22. There is all you need in the Voltek range, they have built in photocells and lux adjustment, so pick a PIR, or a double head, with a built in controller or separate, and then an 1805 or 1809 to give the buzzer and with the 1809 more hands on control of your lighting as well
  23. We would not like to disagree with the manufacturers instructions for wiring
