  2. I wonder if you could help. I have a number of Aritech GS610 window sensors fitted in my home but they are not connected to the alarm box. could you tell me please which of thr 4 wires are power supply and which are sensors?
  3. I am looking for an addressable Intruder Alarm System. I have already passed a 2 core power cable and 4 core looping from each PIR. Can you please guide me to find the correct system? I also need to connect an access control system with the intruder alarm system. Will look forward to hear from you. Thanks and Kind Regards
  4. Hi, I have a fully wired house system. I need to add another zone to a remote building, a garage, and to run a cable is not really possible. Can you recommend a wireless add on Tx/Rx. The zone will have just two door contacts which can be wired in series. the garage does have mains power if required. The garage is about 80 feet from the panel and has direct line of sight, that is to say no major structures to weaken the signal. many thanks
  5. Hi, I'm looking at installing two alarm systems for elderly relatives due to recent break ins in the area and wondered what you could recommend with the following criteria. Property one: wireless system with either prox sensor built in with the possibility of adding a remote one or control panel with two remote prox key pads. 3 wireless magnetic door contacts. 4 wireless PIR wireless external sounder. Property 2: wireless system with either prox sensor on control panel with the possibility of adding a remote one or control panel with two/3 remote prox key pads. 2 wireless magnetic door contacts 4 wireless PIR Wireless external sounder. These systems need to be very reliable with minimal possibility of false alarms. If possible I would like to use a wired for power but wireless external sounder to remove the problem of replacing batteries in the future. could you also add prices for any recommended system. Thanks
  6. The instructions for this unit says that if the settings are changed the unit must be reset at the control Panel. I purchased these units to replace my existing unit and therefore do not have a Honeywell control unit or any functionality to reset PIRs. Can you tell what the reset process is? The anti - mask function, sounds a bit like anti-tamper, do you see any reason why the anti tamper and anti-mask relay out puts cannot be connected in series and both be in the anti-tamper circuit?
  7. I need to add an additional control panel to my alarm system. The current panel is menvier ts700. Do have one which will be compatible with this or would you recommend installing 2 new control panels and if which ones please?
  8. Hi, I've been looking into the Galaxy dimension system for my home for a few reasons, I need to protect the house and two out buildings and I like the IP/GPRS options. Now an oversight on my behalf is the use of RS485 between modules and remote panels, I'm used to systems like the the Honeywell G4. When doing up the house I've used 6 core standard cable, so my problem will be the cable to the remote panel by the front door. The length of this cable is under 10 metres, will I get away with this? As for the 2nd panel upstairs and a powered RIO out in the garage I can easily run cat5 cable. I don't normally ask questions like this but this cable has been run and plastered into the wall.
  9. Do you have a wireless smoke detector with a remote sounder that I could use as a separate system? I need it for my detached garage which is some way from the house and am worried that I might not hear a standard smoke detector at night.
  10. I'm looking for a recessed sensor for an alarm, needs to be unobtrusive as possible,
  11. I recently purchased 1811lr 40m range twin sensor from you, this came without a control unit. Can you please advise what other equipment I require for this to work with my existing light
  12. RE: Takex PR-11B Hi, I plan on purchasing one of these devices as part of a home automation project to detect when a car drives on to my driveway. I was planning on attached the dry contacts to a binary Z-Wave detector to initiate some other lighting. I was wondering what the best source of power for the sensor would be - are you able to recommend any low cost power supplies? Thanks,
  13. I have just moved into a new house that is installed with a scantronic 500+r alarm. I want to turn down the volume on the internal alarm that goes off when you set the alarm, how can I do this?
  14. hi ,the school where I conduct maintenance has a Videx door entry system VX800-2L that has a defective audio unit.I have noticed an audio speaker unit with two push to speak buttons within your products. My question is would this unit be suitable for a replacement and is there a similar unit with just one button on .
  15. Hello, I have purchased a CQR 3/8 Flush Contact 1 RD 4 Wire White, but it does not work on my door. Most probably, it's because the gap est too large and the metal door interfere with the contact detection. I am looking buying a new flush contact. Which one do you recommand? You have so many. The installation environnement is: metalic door, large gap (difficult to measure, probably at least 10mm), if possible a contact with direct wiring. Looking forward your answer
  16. I hope you can help please. I have a simple set up of electrically powered gates with an intercom from the house to the gates. Various bits have needed to be replaced over the years so I cannot accurately describe the components. My problem is that the intercom no longer works properly. We found with some research that the entry and receiver volumes could be adjusted within the HA/200 entry module. Now with both set to maximum we can hear from the gates to the house (with some distortion and background noise), but not the other way. (The press buzzer works properly.) I think I need to replace the audio module which seems simple and cheap, but can you please comment. There is no obvious damage or interference with other components or wiring. Thanks.
  17. Hi in looking for an intruder alarm system, I want to install it across a 30 meter doorway in a shed on a farm. I think a break beam system would be the most appropriate system. The doorways are unsecured in any other way, there is no door to close across the opening. I would need an alarm that could be heard up,to 750 meters away Thansk
  18. Hi there, We purchased the above system sometime ago and have only just got around to installing it! On opening the bell box we were sold with it , it is a hardwired version. I have checked the install manual which only refers to a remote bellbox. Can you tell me which models would be compatible with our system that are available and how much they cost from your company + the postage costs. I dont suppose we can hardwire the one we have got which is a Texecom external sounder and strobe? Thank you for your help
  19. I have stored a number of items in my cart and I would appreciate some advice as to whether these are all compatible or if there are better alternatives available that would work with the main system. I have a hybrid wired/wireless system with existing PIR's and magnetic contacts in place but I am expanding the system and finally installing the panel. 5 x - Honeywell Four-button compact two-way keyfob 1 x - Honeywell Galaxy Flex 50 Panel with MK8 Keyprox 1 x - Microtech Galaxy MK8 Keyprox LCD Keypad 4 x - Honeywell Wireless Dualtec 15m x 18m Pet Immune 5 x - Honeywell Galaxy ASK Keyprox Proximity FOB 1 x - Honeywell Galaxy / Dimension Boxed Power Supply Unit 4 x - Honeywell Wireless Door/window compact magnetic contact 1 x - Honeywell Galaxy Dimension GPRS/IP Communications Module 1 x - Honeywell Galaxy Dimension Wall Tamper Switch 1 x - Honeywell Galaxy Flex Direct mount RF Portal 1 x - Yuasa NP10-6, 6v 10Ah Sealed Lead Acid Battery 1 x - Honeywell Indoor Siren Grade 2 I would also like an outdoor siren (wireless) - my apologies for not including the list before, I thought you might have been able to see it on the admin side of my account.
  20. I am planning to import a comprehensive Visonic Power G2 System with many detectors into Germany. I understand that all components of the system have to be UK components in order to be compatible. Before ordering I need answers to the followings questions: Can the language of the Power Master 30 panel be changed from English to German? Will the Power Master 30 panel with the GSM-350 PG2 and the Powerlink 3 modules be able to communicate with Visonic’s PowerManage IP/GPRS-based Security Management Platform installed at a German central monitoring station? Will the alarm data and other data transmitted by the Power Master 30 panel to the CMS also be in German? Would I have access and full control of my Power G2 System through the Visonic2Go-App with Powerlink 3? Could I alternatively access and control my Power G2 System via an internetbrowser with Powerlink 3? Would there be an additional charge for the usage of the Visonic2Go-App, which as I understand runs on a Visonic Server. Does the powercord of the Power Master 30 panel have an UK 3 pronged plug or a 2 pronged plug? Which battery backup pack is installed in the panel of the Power Master 30 kit? Does the panel of the Power Master 30 kit have a built in siren?
  21. I currently have a visonic powermaster 33 installed and working nicely. I have the gsm module, which is connected to a central monitoring server thing run by a third party. I'm looking at buying the powerlink 3, will this enable me to connect into the alarm myself so that I don't need to use a central monitoring station? I know that the powerlink 2 allowed you to do this, but not sure about the powerlink3. I have the Powermaster 33 PG2, and I've confirmed that it's got firmware 18. So, before I buy it please can you 100% confirm that if I buy the Powerlink3, I'll be able to connect into it WITHOUT needing to pay for a powermanage server? Ie I'd connect directly to it using a web browser? And also, that I'll be able to view the status, see camera pictures, arm/disarm etc? I want to be able to connect directly to my alarm to set, unset, view cameras, logs etc without having to pay a 3rd party to use their visonic powermanage server, as I have to now.
  22. Hi I have a securilite alarm system fitted with the IBX Command centre in the house which has Single head PIR sensor outside to cover the drive way, the sensor has failed and i cannot see any part numbers on the sensor and i am unsure which one to order from you, it looks identical to the voltek sensors you list but which one ? would the Voltek 1804 single head sensor be suitable for this with the range of 18m x 90 degree angle ? Kind regards
  23. I'm just inquiring about your Klaxon h series burglar alarm sounded, just wanted to know is it compatible with a Honeywell accenta control panel and also is the sounder the same as shown its the picture?
  24. Do you have any motion sensors with two contact sets ? So that it is possible to use one contact for alarm, and one for home automation ?
  25. The prospect has a door entry system on the front door into the house. They have now decided to have electronic gates. There may be a tube between the gate and the garage but nothing into the house as it's just been refurbished, Are there wireless units available?
