  1. Id recommend a menvier m12 http://www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=638
  2. You will need to unit in thest mode to test this. It should work fine. How are you testing the detector, and what is the application (ie protected area)
  3. No im afraid not. The simpleset use a coil, there is no voltage input/output from it.
  4. Yes You just need a stand alone reciever to match the sensor in use eg http://www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&manufacturers_id=68&products_id=2126 single channel reciever and pir to suit http://www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&manufacturers_id=68&products_id=1697
  5. Id have a look at the act equipment. The pro equipment will handlt upto 30,000 so 200 will be no problem. ALso the act smart will handle this. (their mid range product)
  6. its usually a wiring issue or cable fault. I would advise removing all wiring and the keypad from the wall and connect using a short known and tested cable. if you have followed the correct power up etc it should be fine. let us know how that goes.
  7. if you currently have the black slate type with the max number stamped on them then yes. if the fobs have no numbers then no. you will also need a new master fob and 2 additional fobs for add / delete masters
  8. Your user manual will show you haw to add user rf fobs. Depending on your version. Its a user function not an engineer function.
  9. Im sorry we dont stock just the covers for those units. Im not even sure if optex supply just covers. I will have to find out.
  10. Unless your output on the panel is low ie less than 12v? then id suspect the sounder. If you meter the sounder you should have 12v between Bell trigger and HO+. If you have then it isnt the panel
  11. you want to wire the black wire to bell trigger, and the red wire to a 12v positive usually HO+
  12. Honeywell make a combined vibro and contact unit http://www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=937
  13. something like this? http://www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=937
  14. I have split the manuals from the original order and set them ready to be downloaded. If you log in to your account and select the newer order number you will be able to download all 3. James
  15. Hi 1. You will need a trelay. ie http://www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=1574 Note: the relay contacts on this are not suitable for mains operation. You may need a heavy duty relay if switching 240v into your heating etc. 2. Using the above relay you can use the NC / C connections straight into a suitable zone 3. The accenta doesnt have a 'keyswitch' zone type. It will only arm disarm via code and or fob (with reader) 4. You can just link the output to the trigger
  16. From the engineer manual Have you enabled that option?
  17. The items are compatible yes. Honeywell dont make a 12v smoke detector, but i would recommend the Menvier M12 http://www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=638
  18. Officially no. But the cooper tags do work with the keyprox keypad. They wont however work on the micromax unit. James
  19. TCP 15000 - 15007 UDP 15000 - 15200 You can put the adpro in the DMZ but its best to just forward the above ports. You will need a static IP on the site end too.
  20. Which ports do i need to forward on my router to allow external connections to the adpro fasttrace unit?
  21. its an unusual one then as the maintainer is liable for losses etc, so they should ensure only they or auth persons can work on it. However if you let the current alarm co now you are working on it the will be able to advise or put the system 'on test' at the arc. If you have engineer authority at the arc then you could do it.
  22. Id assume if its on redcare its under a current contract with another alarm co. If so i wouldnt recommend touching it at all. If its a police response system then you definetly shouldnt touch it. Is there anymore info as to what you have to do and why etc?
  23. I would advise checking for shorts etc. if you do have a wiring fault then the same thing may happen. if you don't connect any powers or sounders etc then you can power the new panel up and test first. hopefully it was a faulty panel.
  24. as a rough guide any panel less than 2 years old should be an F or later. but the only way to check is to look at the board/rom version stamp.
