  1. this panel does not have a built in relay but you can an an external relay to one of the voltage outputs. Yes it will run upto an 8 Ohm load. SO that could be 2 x 16 Ohm speakers in parralel or 4 x 16 ohms in series and paralel etc
  2. also none of our equipment is designed for the diy'er. It is professional security equipment not diy equipment. SOrry
  3. Visonic will not allow us to publish pricing on these products. ie the pro and complete. Yes our pricing would be good if we were allowed
  4. that is the maximum voltage, as they are switches the voltage is irrelevant in your case
  5. unsure re the screwfix question, but a honeywell gen4 optima is a honeywell gen4 optima etc. id use http://www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=36_62&products_id=1439 dialler http://www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=1425 additional PIR's http://www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=1007 Flush COntact http://www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=180
  6. Id suggest there is a bad connection between the speaker and the main board. Please ensure that is connected correctly. If so id do a factory reset of the unit. If it still fails then we need to swap it.
  7. wired k985 now in stock http://www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=2269
  8. there is a warranty but id be sure its faulty before that. Could be an overloaded psu. Whats the day mode current on the system now you have added these items, and what was it before? Also what size battery is fitted?
  9. when you say keyfob do you mean proximity or rf? if proximity then id recommend the accenta panel etc. If rf then id recommend the scantronic or honeywell G2 wireless hybrids
  10. have a look here http://www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=667
  11. As you note there is only 2 hard wired inputs. So you can only use those, ie 2 sensors.
  12. CHeck the freq of your current sensors. Other than that they should be compatible
  13. as above if you sure they are faulty we need to swap them. However texecom gear is generally reliable.
  14. as above i assume you mean window foil. Still an excellent system as long as its not misused. very expensive to impliment and only suitable on certain glass types.
  15. agreed. By dd243 6.4.5 you cannot use a user code to disarm during entry. you can however disable this feature if dd243 isnt relevant
  16. a jamming signal may be a deliberate jam attempt but is more likly to be interference etc. it can be disabled but i would try and find the source of it. Look for any nearby wireless devices that may be affecting it.
  17. you dont want to use an optima etc as a wireless system as its a wired system. if you want full wireless then as above either the ion or a visonic powermax.
  18. ideally you will want to use a battery backed power supply but technically a regulated 12v plug in psu will work. no the units can be fed from different 12v psu's
  19. you will need the installation code. If its on contract i wouldnt touch it. yes, sort of. you need a contour keypad. as long as it isnt locked yes. But if locked then no possibly depends on the answers to above. But if its under contract and you do this then the contract will be voided. Plus if its on response (ie police) then you need to be an approved installer to work on it.
  20. you definely have a wiring fault, you may have damaged the main board. you can mix led and lcd keypads on the system
  21. I would suggest you test the trigger first, ie switch the input to 0v to confirm the programming is right fot the input. The unit you have should do this. James
  22. Yes both will work they will wire into the hardwired connections on the powermax main board
  23. You could use a pir but the risk of it be obctructed is high imo id probably look at using door contacts and vibration if req. alternativly you could lace the door and wall area etc.
