  1. You can use any hardwired pro sounder such as the honeywell ag6 http://www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/honeywell-activeguard-ag6-external-siren-blue-inc-white-cover-p-1973.html
  2. need a model number to be sure (the 21/40 just shows the number of products in the search or catagory you were in) But im assuming its the secware pro unit and as such is an analogue unit. You can use cat 5 if you use baluns to convert the signal. It is not an IP / network camera
  3. Yes that sensor can be connected to any pro security panel
  4. You could connect direct to the dialler with a pir etc but you would have no means to arm / disarm it unless you used a keyswitch. As you need a power supply to run the dialler, by the time you have purchased a psu, a keyswitch, relay etc you would have been better off buying an optima compact or an accenta http://www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/ade-honeywell-optima-compact-gen4-p-866.html
  5. You wont find a sensor that is battery powered with clean contacts. The relay would flatten the battery in no time. Usually on IP cameras the alarm input is configurable as N/O or N/C. I would suggest a 12v sensor such as the Voltek AUtoswitch but this will require a 12v Power supply. How are you powering the camera? http://www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/voltek-autoswitch-p-2453.html
  6. you can use this but in a shed i would recommend a dualtec. The only wireless dt i know of is the honeywell unit, but obviously this will only function on honeywell wireless panels. 2nd best is the unit you have mentioned
  7. I will try and make some suggestions... The blueline is an internal sensor only. What is the size of your dogs? It will be very difficult (expensive) to create a system where 5 areas can be armed disarmed speratly from a single fob. When you say 4 areas, do you want seperate reporting of these areas with a single all on/all off command or do you need to arm them seperatly? If you use a security control panel then it will accomodate battery backup. Pretty much all modern sounders have led's and strobes. No problem but I need to know more before recommending a panel. At the moment im thinking a bigger galaxy flex or dimension as this will allow the flexability it appears you need. Personally im not a fan of pet detectors as such. If you want reliable external detection with the minimum of false alarms i would not recommend a passive detector. I would recommend an active detector such as http://www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/takex-30m-ext-60m-int-twin-actve-beam-p-2042.html Not a problem as even the most basic panels have 8 zones now. not a problem but we need to pick a panel first then decide on arming options.
  8. Could you let me know if the Sec Ware 6 core cable is available in 100m rolls and if I can order 10 rolls?? Also is the deliery to Uk address free??
  9. Thanks for the follow up
  10. It is compatible but overkill IMO JUst use the standard secware door contact. However I dont think the panel work as you want in this application. Chime will stop when the circuit closes. You will need either a latching system with manual reset per door or a more powerful panel that can be programmed to work like this. http://www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/secware-d20-surface-contact-p-667.html
  11. you want a hybrid control panel. Something like the honeywell galaxy g2 wireless kit. http://www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/honeywell-galaxy-220-wireless-starter-kit-p-1632.html this will accept up to 20 devices in total and upto 12 of the 20 may be wired. I would recommend a pet sensor for the tortise but a standard sensor would probably be ok due to the slow speed. Pet sensor http://www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/honeywell-activ8-pir-single-channel-18m-quad-element-pet-pir-p-2057.html Im concerned about using pirs in the sheds. It is inside spec the temp range but id more concerned with spiders and draughts etc. Honeywell make a wireless Dualtec that would IMO be better suited to this. http://www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/honeywell-wireless-dualtec-15m-x-18m-p-2162.html While you 'could' mount vibration detectors to the bikes them selves i wouldnt recommend it. They need to be well fixed to the surface they are protecting, but you cant fix them permanently and remove the sensors from the system coverage as that will cause supervision faults.
  12. the panel will accept any clean switch smoke sensor. ie http://www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/honeywell-12v-non-latching-detector-base-p-2277.html and http://www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/honeywell-optical-smoke-detector-eco1003a-p-2448.html
  13. There are CO (Carbon Monoxide) detectors available. But i dont know of a similar unit for CO2
  14. you should get a pro in to check it is setup correctly etc. but the alarm pair is between C and NC.
  15. Yes. Ideally if you can cable from both panels to the dialler then you can trigger it and report which system has activated assuming your dialler has multiple alarm inputs.
  16. What is the lock connected to in the reader. You need to change that. If you can upload a photo in can tell you what to move where.
  17. On these units the freq is set per country. You can't get the different freq in the UK. There is only one.
  18. Would this be a wired or wireless system?
  19. yes if you kepe the unit powered it will not self activate. The prefered way is to disable it a the sab.
  20. Yes you can use star keypad wiring on this panel
  21. Yes redcare have a grade 4 service called redcare classic and redcare GSM. But there are alternatives Webwayone, emizon, dualcom GPRS etc. YEs we sell them but are you in the US?
  22. The visonic isnt 2 way. The only thing that is 2 way on that unit is the keyfob so it can show set status and that is only on the newer unit ie not on the powermax plus. Th eonly systems that are 2 way are the galaxy G2, HKC, Texecom Richochet and the new pyronix enforcer.
  23. You are talking about different thing. GSM jammers are a threat but a gsm dialler is a low security device. Jamming of the wireless circuits is possible but not with a GSM jammer you would need more specialist kit. But a decent control panel would detect the jam and would go into alarm (if programmed) Have a look at 2 way wireless as this has the lower polling times. Also currently only 50131 grade 2 wireless equipment exists.
  24. A dialler is a low security device. If the risk is medium to high you would not want to use a dialler and would use a high security communicator. Anything that meets EN 50131 Grade 4, must transmit its status quickly. Also if the device is disabled this would also show up within 3 mins.
  25. Foil has the same problem as a vibration sensor. If the risk is that high and the property is attracting that grade of intruder, basic alarm systems are not up to it. Most breakins are brute force where the intruder has no skills in this area or access to the equipment required to do it. Vibration sensors need carefull placement and setup. But you also need a contact to prevent the window being opened without vibration and as such not detected. If this is a concern (and im unsure of your angle at the moment) you need to be using grade 3 equipment. A grade 3 contact must under the standard detect or ignore a foreign magnet designed to defeat the contact. This could be backed by a vibration sensor on the window (if relevant), glassbreak detector etc. You would also need a grade 3 antimask dualtec protecting the room. This would all be considered as part of the design.
