  1. id look at the honeywell galaxy g2 with wireless expander for the fob.
  2. can you take a photo of the bell connections as i cant follow the above
  3. you need to connect the battery link in the ag6 (external sounder) when everything is complete
  4. thanks for the follow up
  5. Are you plugging the card into the pc, what sort of card is it?
  6. Thanks for the followup
  7. IS 215T http://www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=1007 Surface Door Contact http://www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=667
  8. The prestige is a better range but it depends on your application. If your looking at a dualtech id recommend the honeywell 7 series over most things in general environments.
  9. Bryan. We only supply pro equipment. None of the equipment is designed for DIY use. I understand that the DIY type equipment is poor by comparison. Id advise you get it installed by someone competent in pro gear. But equipment wise id look at the honeywell accenta, honeywell is215 detectors. The only issue here is that the accenta is only an 8 zone panel. id only advise 1 detector per zone. You have 9 detectors. If you need more than 8 zones then look at the galaxy 2 series panel but this is a big jump from an accenta.
  10. id be sure you have first. Pull all your circuit wiring and loop out. What circuit is going into alarm?
  11. ANy good IP camera will allow remote viewing over the internet but i dont fully understand the 60m2 bit? As you mention 'single' cat 5 i assume you want to power it from the same cable too?
  12. Id agree, from the info above seems your entry zone isnt starting for whatever reason.
  13. What were the connections on the old handset, can you upload a photo?
  14. there isnt a head directly compatible but the voltek and/or the gjd units will definetly work with a little work. Do any of your existing heads still function. I need to know how they switch on their signal wire, then i can tell you how to wire in another brand. But voltek/gjd switchers are not dear might be simpler to replace the switcher too.
  15. As above it looks like the vantage unit is a vandal resistant dome, so id look at this one http://www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=2229
  16. It sounds like you have either a wiring issue on the data line to the keypad or a cable fault. To test use a short length of cable and wire the keypad directly to the panel. It could also be an overload issue what is your day mode current?
  17. as above when you silence the alarm have a look at what leds are illuminated. Id also assume a tamper problem
  18. Some CMS software allows this via PC. I dont know of a product that uses an iphone app to achieve the same. You could use a speech dialler and connect the speaker output to a PA amplifier. However the output of such devices is a speaker output not a low level output so you may need a speaker to line level converter. This is not an ideal solution as it is not using the product as designed. The best way is to use a dvr with 2 way audio, a PA amp, horn speakers etc and a CMS solution.
  19. the 593 will function with a current 800 series keypad.
  20. I assume IV post code is high up in the highlands of scotland. There are issues with parcel force. A few years ago we used them for some parcels but the strikes at the time made it impracticable
  21. What additional information is needed?
  22. Thankyou the weights of the keyfobs was incorrect. This has now been updated.
  23. Yes you need an easy set reader.
  24. You missed one. The sab. It's often that especially as the temps change etc. TRy looping that out. If it still does it then its either a dry joint or a failed panel tamper switch. If be surprised if it was either. Also when you have looped out the detector and keypad tamp circuit did you remove the wires. Ie it can be a voltages issue. Again its unlikely and id say it will be bell and or bell cable related.
  25. THanks for the followup
