  1. Hi everyone I just wondered if anyone can tell me if texecom Impaq glass sensor is compatible with the above system and if easier or even possible what wireless transmitters can be fitted to this system to save running new cable.
  2. Hello again I've recently come across a fault with the above type of detector. I seem to be getting either the sensor false firing or possible emc problems. I've lowered the sensitivity with the internal jumper but the fault is still present, all connections and continuity through cable seems to be good this is why I'm now thinking it could be emc. If it is emc does anyone know of a cure that doesn't involve re-running of cable. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
  3. Thanks for the comments Visonic want to look at the board, had a quick look myself and one of the ic's looks a bit smokey. Going to wait and see what they say.
  4. Hi was wondering if anyone could help, I've just installed my first visonic powermax complete intruder system and I have a problem with the wireless siren. What seems to happen is I enrol the siren using the selftest button and it operates normally then after a couple of days the siren doesn't sound under an alarm condition and seems to totally drop of the system. I'm now wondering if it's a dud battery or a possible pcb fault. I've tried using the diagnostic function to check and keep getting the (not ok) message and I've also measured the battery and it seems fine but I'm not sure if the draw is dragging it down once connected. If anyone can help it would be much appreciated.
  5. No there's no maglock just me being a bit thick. Thanks for your help
  6. I've calculated the total load to be 1.42A with the aux 12v only supplying 1A.
  7. Hello I'm looking to see if anyone can help I've recently bought a eurosec cpx control panel and I was wondering if I need to wire an additional power supply so I can connect the 7 pir's and 4 shocktec door contacts, Or is it possible to power them via the aux 12v. The pir's nominal current is 16mA and the door cont's 7.5mA, according to my calculations this will over-load the system. If so can anyone recommend a suitable add. power supply so I can split the load.
  8. Hello I have recently installed a Eurosec CPX system and was wondering if you have to add eol resistors to standard secware SC517 door contacts? Thanks in advance
