  1. as above if you sure they are faulty we need to swap them. However texecom gear is generally reliable.
  2. as above i assume you mean window foil. Still an excellent system as long as its not misused. very expensive to impliment and only suitable on certain glass types.
  3. agreed. By dd243 6.4.5 you cannot use a user code to disarm during entry. you can however disable this feature if dd243 isnt relevant
  4. a jamming signal may be a deliberate jam attempt but is more likly to be interference etc. it can be disabled but i would try and find the source of it. Look for any nearby wireless devices that may be affecting it.
  5. you dont want to use an optima etc as a wireless system as its a wired system. if you want full wireless then as above either the ion or a visonic powermax.
  6. ideally you will want to use a battery backed power supply but technically a regulated 12v plug in psu will work. no the units can be fed from different 12v psu's
  7. you will need the installation code. If its on contract i wouldnt touch it. yes, sort of. you need a contour keypad. as long as it isnt locked yes. But if locked then no possibly depends on the answers to above. But if its under contract and you do this then the contract will be voided. Plus if its on response (ie police) then you need to be an approved installer to work on it.
  8. you definely have a wiring fault, you may have damaged the main board. you can mix led and lcd keypads on the system
  9. I would suggest you test the trigger first, ie switch the input to 0v to confirm the programming is right fot the input. The unit you have should do this. James
  10. Yes both will work they will wire into the hardwired connections on the powermax main board
  11. You could use a pir but the risk of it be obctructed is high imo id probably look at using door contacts and vibration if req. alternativly you could lace the door and wall area etc.
  12. http://www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/index.php?main_page=advanced_search_result&search_in_description=1&keyword=EUR-031 have a look here
  13. The Ion 40, visonic powermax and risco wisdom can do this. Have a look at the powermax here http://www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=1015
  14. Did you resolve your issue. If you let me have your order number i will send you the install manual.
  15. They are seperate functions from different systems. An ANPR system is just that, you will additionally need something to stream it via the web etc. How many coincurrent users do they need
  16. as above, its a special cable, they are not 'line powered' on the coax itself. THis is possible but not on this kit
  17. id confirm the video on the monitor first, ie connect one of the cameras direct. But usually its due to a badly made off or faulty BNC connction on the video out.
  18. Id advoid low cost rf transmitters etc. We dont sell any of the lower cost units as we havnt found one we think has acceptable performance. RF transmission is possible but id olny recommend the better brands for this. http://www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1_59&products_id=478 Thats only 1 end obviously
  19. The 70m is not simple. I wouldnt recommend any LED emitter to achieve that range, but it is acheivable with the right camera / emitter combo etc Id recommend the secware pro IR domes for the shorter range views. http://www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/index.php?main_page=advanced_search_result&search_in_description=1&keyword=secware+pro+520
  20. you can either use something like this http://www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=2241 that will connect to an analogue port on the pbx there are ip / sip variations
  21. That part is available speratly on the website. http://www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/index.php?main_page=index&manufacturers_id=92
  22. Yes you can do it either using the structured cabling only or via IP. Depending on the application
  23. It depends on your system. There are various modules that fit in that enclosure, you will need to know its model number
