Secware_Tech6 replied to Secware's topic in Security Lighting
WHat are the model numbers you have is it the rf ones? If so which unit is further away? -
Id suggest you have a data problem. EIther you have a wiring error on your keypad bus, a damaged cable causing a short or a broken cable causing no connection

[Ticket Question] Gardtec Contour Led Rkp
Secware_Tech6 replied to Secware's topic in Intruder Alarms
That panel may have a locked engineer code, so id advise a call to a local nsi approved security company. -
If you have a professional control panel then yes. But if you have a diy system from b&q etc then probably not.

Mini Opal Cover Screw, Voice Recording, Pir Setup
Secware_Tech6 replied to Ken_Burgess's topic in Security Lighting
If you are too close it will distort. I would advise about 12". Unfortunatly while you can approximate settings it is best to fully walk test. Bear in mind you may get a small amount of creep in colder weather so set them up just inside the boundry rather than right upto it. I have asked sales to look into your screws.- 1 reply

The current keypad units will not work on the concept 6. You will need to replace the control panel with this http://www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/ade-honeywell-accenta-mini-gen4-with-led-keypad-p-1544.html

Thats a timeguard unit. It looks like you have an IQ unit. I would suggest they are not compatible.
-
That looks right then. What problem are you having.
-
I would suggest it is compatible then if you already have a working 730. re delay options see below (copied from install manual) 4.4.5 Abort Time (fig. 4.4 location 05) Do not use in UL installations. Here you select the length of time allowed by the system to abort an alarm (not applicable to alarms from FIRE, 24H SILENT, EMERGENCY, GAS and FLOOD zones). The PowerMax+ is programmed to provide an “abort interval” that starts upon detection of an event. During this interval, the buzzer sounds a warning but the siren remains inactive and the alarm is not reported. If the user disarms the system within the allowed abort interval, the alarm is aborted. Available options: 00s, 15s, 30s, 45s, 60s, 2m, 3m, 4m.

What are the requirments of the multiplexor. You may be able to use a newer pelco unit. Are you using custom software to control them etc. How are they being used?
-
just a note. I notice you say you have a powermax plus. Im not sure the 730 is compatible with the plus units, you need a 710

Sounds like you may have a faulty unit. But how are you testing it. ie there are possible 2nd entry timers and bell delays you could have configured

[Ticket Question] Using Honeywell Simple Set Reader
Secware_Tech6 replied to Secware's topic in Intruder Alarms
You cant partset from the simple set reader. There isnt a way on that panel of doing it via gobs im afraid. You can use an informa and the accenta has dedicated comms outputs so you can signal alarm, fire, pa etc seperatly if required. You can connect a 16 Ohm speaker to the panel -

On the galaxys they have programable outputs. If you use 2 of the outputs for your bell and strobe (normal -ve trigger) then program the outputs as BELL and STROBE as required. -
sounds like a faulty camera. Are they all doing this? What are the units you have?
-
