It seems there is no need to pay for a monitoring station. Ring visonic and explain the issue. A nice man rang me, came round, inputted the settings and i'm away. There is no windows program or app. Neither for the Mac There is an official app for Android and Iphone/iPad called Visonic Alert. Your keypad needs an IP inputting. The app needs a web address and your panel ID. This is based on a visonice powermaster33 with a KP-250 Keypad and a powerlink3 only I hope this helps

HI, Should the KP-250 keypad play sounds? I can hear beeps when i press buttons however there is no count down when the alarm is setting, there is no sound when a recorded message is played and there is no chime when the door opens... Am i missing something? i have turned the volume up - the beep gets louder. I have pressed 8 and the alert(bell) icon is lit and the chime is set to on and melody chime. Do i need another speaker installing or is my keypad faulty? Thanks in advance

I have spoken with a guy at Visonic who came to my house and set things up for me. He inputted a web address into the app along with the panel ID from the back of the control panel. An IP address also had to be added to my KP 250 keypad. I now have full control of the alarm. I can set/unset/mute alrms,get push notifications and view the images on the PIR. No need for a monitoring station. I am not sure i can give the details on here so it will be worth giving them a call and asking the question. I believe a trained installer has all these settings and will input these during install. So..... It can be done. The APP is actually called Visonic Alert

Why do they only go to a CMS? Is there any way of running to software on a personal server? I have my own dedi through work... Just need the software to communicate with the alarm. A massive downfall and false advertising really... Why don't visonic provide this service for all home users....

Hi, I have recently naively purchased and installed a powermaster 33 alarm unit along with the IP Powerlink 3 module and a camera PIR. I thought it would be as simple as install, get it working, attach to the network and link with the app. I see this in not the case. Can anyone point me in the right direction? I have done some more googling and found from the visonic website links to the powermanage and powermaster interactive side of things. They mention having a CMS or remote management company... I just want to run some software from my Mac(which is on all the time) and access via the app... Any advice grateful Thanks
