  1. id recommend optex or Honeywell sensors as a general comment. Obviously the sensors need to be suitable for the environment, Control panel wise id say galaxy
  2. no the sterling 10 is long obsolete and you will need to replace the panel and the keypad.
  3. I'd suggest you start a new topic per question. It's getting difficult to follow?
  4. 1 yes just add it and program as required 2 assuming wireless Bell yes 3 yes only when in range
  5. How long battery life you looking for?
  6. If your wiring double pole then you will need 6 on powered detectors (pir) and 4 on non powered ones (contacts)
  7. I would say your panel is powered but the keypad is not.
  8. It's possible it's a faulty keypad. The external shouldn't activate on a tamper when unset. But as you don't have a 100% system it's unknown how it will react
  9. Use links with the link source as the circuit and the destination as the output type you have programmed
  10. Mix of rf and wired there could you give us your site info first? What does your client need?
  11. I would start by looking at the power supply that is feeding the control panel. What else is this supplying?
  12. Yes you could use any lock that has a key override with an electronic release. Your door type will dictate suitable locking solution's
  13. you can use an external detector on chime such as the takex units or set an output to follow that circuit
  14. you want an active beam for detection. Take a look at the takex or Optex units. I don't like voice diallers as they are not polled a proper monitoring transmitter would be better imo
  15. you can definitely have 4 keypads but ill check the docs
  16. yes but id always advise 1 device to 1 circuit
