  1. id shorten the conducters you have a high risk of shorts from the images provided. regarding the keypad never connect direct to the battery as there is no fuse protection. I would check your 12v out from the keypad connection in the panel, id assume a fuse has blown regarding the sensors. Be best to start a seperate topic per issue to save it becoming muddled
  2. Check circuit time is final and what is the entry time set up. Also what is logged when this occurs its the circuit type that will be set as finel the area setting mode will be timed it isnt programmable iirc it should be a tamper it should do that to comply but you can change it in system displays Intruder
  3. It does sound like there is an issue with either the keypad or the panel then unfortunatly
  4. I'd first look at range and or interference. What happened locally in the build up to the fault. Also have you tried temporarily relocating the keypad and power cycling
  5. cant see an option in the manual. Have you tried holding the d key down to program the key[pad option. This works on external 485 keypads
  6. Unsure of model number here but generally most cameras will require a power supply adapter, usually 12v
  7. The only things that can send emails are the Vanderbilt panels. But they are ethernet not gsm without modules. Another option is to use an 'proper' communicator and get the arc to send the emails. If emails are just for logging purposes?
  8. id recommend optex or Honeywell sensors as a general comment. Obviously the sensors need to be suitable for the environment, Control panel wise id say galaxy
  9. no the sterling 10 is long obsolete and you will need to replace the panel and the keypad.
  10. I'd suggest you start a new topic per question. It's getting difficult to follow?
  11. 1 yes just add it and program as required 2 assuming wireless Bell yes 3 yes only when in range
  12. How long battery life you looking for?
  13. If your wiring double pole then you will need 6 on powered detectors (pir) and 4 on non powered ones (contacts)
  14. I would say your panel is powered but the keypad is not.
  15. It's possible it's a faulty keypad. The external shouldn't activate on a tamper when unset. But as you don't have a 100% system it's unknown how it will react
  16. Use links with the link source as the circuit and the destination as the output type you have programmed
  17. A dvr with alarm inputs can send emails etc. Depends on the model
  18. Mix of rf and wired there could you give us your site info first? What does your client need?
  19. I would start by looking at the power supply that is feeding the control panel. What else is this supplying?
  20. Yes you could use any lock that has a key override with an electronic release. Your door type will dictate suitable locking solution's
  21. you can use an external detector on chime such as the takex units or set an output to follow that circuit
  22. yes but the wireless extender is just for detectors
  23. best way it to use a panel.
