  1. Im not fully understanding the question? Its difficult to suggest detector layout etc without a drawing with scale. The units are easy to setup for a professional installer but are not diy consumer products The parts listed wont work together without some sort of switching unit. This will depend on the sites requirements
  2. Secware_Tech6 replied to SRW's topic in CCTV
It's difficult to suggest anything without assuming lots of info. The only way to be sure is to survey the site. Most systems are kits however they always have compromises by there nature First look at your desired views then light levels etc. All cameras are not equal. Once you have your chosen cameras and probably detectors look at the dvr. Backplane bitrate, channel bitrate are things to consider. Imo you want at least 4mb/s for 2mp 6 plus for 4. Then storage issues, hard drive types etc There are kits but they are designed to be used for budgets not well designed systems
  3. Optex detectors are UL tested, but dont have adjustment (unsure why this is needed) but could use a bracket. Also IIRC the takex units are UL too James
  4. 24v will limit your choice, but all you need is a detector that has ul approval? No other requirement?
  5. They are the bell tamper and trigger connections from memory (as the 800l is long obsolete) -r is tamper return S is bell trigger ST is strobe
  6. You can't, an accenta keypad is for an accenta and optima
  7. Would this https://www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/intruder-alarm-c-36/remote-signalling-c-36_57/a5-gsm-alarm-autodialer-and-sms-senderno-enclosure-p-5080.html
  8. Not from that, do you have a zoomed out pic including lid etc and the reader?
  9. While i beleive the newer peripherals work with the old europlex panels in this case i doubt it. You may be able to firmware update all the the way to current versions then newer peripherals will work but rf frequenc ies have changed over the years etc
  10. Do you mean the accenta gen4?
  11. I'm sorry I don't understand the question. You can add an lcd keypad to the gen4
  12. Yes you will need to use a current limiting resistor from the NO connections Assuming you are connecting it to S not R?
  13. please see this link https://www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/index.php?main_page=advanced_search_result&keyword=grade+AND+3+AND+flush&categories_id=44&manufacturers_id=&pfrom=&pto=&dfrom=&dto=
  14. Yes only the green and red leds will show unless there is a fault and the leds will flash differently depending on the fault code
  15. Best control panel with Ethernet support is the vanderbilt spc as it has a built in Web browser and app support
  16. You have no battery charge output? Have you checked the battery fuse? Also if the battery is connected incorrectly it will blow the charger circuit
  17. Yes, you would be the 'customer" to us
  18. Sorry about this. Do you know your order # and I will start a support ticket.
  19. In its budget I'd stay with. Widely popular solid unit. How old is it out of interest?
  20. There should be a device listed as well showing which one or ones are in low battery. You can also check from the engineer menu on a per device basis
  21. Have a look in the event log to start with. Post what's in there.
  22. No it is not grade 2
  23. The higher the grade the higher the security level. If you don't need wireless bells I'd look at the galaxy with portal
  24. Both have good wireless options but id be wary of anyone giving away apps for free etc. These things do cost to run and often the free ones have less reliability.
