  1. Anything is possible however lighting is completely different to sounders. I'd advise against running sounders of lighting outputs. Better question is what are you trying to achieve?
  2. The advantage of a hard wired system is you can use any sensor. You don't need a risco sensor on your hard wired risco panel. The pet sensor idea is a whole different debate
  3. Thats for the powerg range of panels. It wont work on the powermax range of panels that are now obsolete
  4. Yes you can use any sensor to trigger a switcher. Have a look at the takex or optex active beams
  5. I don't think so, you will need to readdress and reconfigure the loop. You can add the device though
  6. Yes that looks correct, however be careful with UK bt lines as they are changing to an ip core
  7. It looks like you changed the keypad address
  8. Agreed I'd look at that even takex max at 18v You could use optex redwall sensors but they are an external detector. As Selfmon says I'd look to convert down
  9. Is this internal or external detection But if your using a control panel is this not 12v?
  10. Hi Is that 2 call buttons, 2 entrances with 1 call button or 2 handsets and 1 external unit with 1 button? so one is totally wireless the other has a cable between handset and call station? They are diy products so im not suprised Thats fine so an old standard definition camera (906h)?
  11. If its one you purchased from us drop us a support ticket and we can help. If not try thesecurityinstaller.co.uk
  12. The panel has a total output you need to allow headroom and battery recharge current from flat. Never run a system at 100% be like running the stereo at 10 wr hours a day 365 days etc
  13. Yes just be careful on the current demand of the system There isnt yet but id expect it. There is concern on 'free' apps (they cost to develop and maintain ec) reliability. The free ones have often have downtime issues vs the supported ones
  14. It must be connected to the dcm. You could shunt out the door contact with the lock relay but its better for door forced monitoring to go to the dcm Are these dcm's setup for 2 reader (single door mode)?
  15. Unfortunately when a panel goes end of life there isnt really an option. Although it has done 15 years!
  16. Are you sure you have a gen4 accenta? Can you upload a pic of the panel and keypads?
  17. Something like this? https://store.securitywarehouse.co.uk/product/tkc-160-precision-timer/pt160/
  18. I'd check the output of the psu when it's OK and when failed. That will confirm if it's the psu. It could also be overloading if something is taking too much current. Again multimeter will confirm

Hi Gough Sorry this is mainly for tech issues have you raised a ticket on your account? I can create that for you for sales support if needed.
  20. You can but you need a texecom installer cloud account. The com IP allows for direct connection.
  21. Not that I know to. Cotag have high read range for passive but most hi range stuff is active or do you mean 50mm not 50cm?
  22. Enter the manager code then enter, scroll through the events and press enter. That should put you into manager menu. Then select timed set and press enter. Arm the system in the usual way, but do complete the set.
  23. You will need active cards for that range. What's the application?
  24. Have you acknowledged the warning in the relevant group with a manager code?
  25. The best way to test smoke detectors is with a solo test kit. No Climb Solo 823 Smoke & Cordless Heat Detector Test Set 9.3 m [SOLO823-101] - £1,280.58 : Security Warehouse. Security Supplies.
