  1. You do enable / disable the circuits you want in each part set.
  2. the newer hkc micro rf sensors can be hidden if there is sufficient space. But will require a hkc panel
  3. Bosch or Honeywell are popular pro models
  4. Its should be 12v DC
  5. Any non addressable sab will be compatible. ie CQR
  6. Have you confirmed all the wiring is OK?
  7. Its a detector, would need to be part of a solution.
  8. Re the cctv do you have a preffered brand? Agree on the toy town stuff most budget equipment is exactly that. Alarm system wise again i dont know your expereience or preffered equipment?
  9. A max reader us usually outside a door and is a reader only. A keyprox is a keypad and proximity reader combined
  10. Yes if galaxy a honeywell or campatible fob will work on all. However there is a difference between keyprox and max
  11. its going to need an engineer visit.i assume the system isnt serviced regularly?
  12. will the nvr support 8mp?
  13. No its a control panel and keypad only
  14. examples Secware Double Flashing Battery Powered LED [SECWARE-DBFlash-LED] - £6.72 : | Best Price Promise | Security Warehouse Professional products HKC Decoy Flashing LED Unit [UKBPStrobe] - £18.70 : | Best Price Promise | Security Warehouse Professional products Bentley Double flash (unit with two LEDs) [AT-361] - £18.59 : | Best Price Promise | Security Warehouse Professional products They will last a couple of years. I have the Bentley one on a garage at home and it lasted 5 years so far.
  15. No not a mains powered one. There are battery led kits available but the only way to emulate a sounder is to use a real sounder and power it from a powersupply
  16. It may well be but shock sensors still do latching but i dont know of a pir that supports it anymore. YOu may be able to find some new old stock. Installers dont do that anymore (for some time) as panels are bigger and its best practice to put everything on its own circuit. Walk test is to remotly disable/enable the led not latch
  17. Im not sure that latching PIR's are a thing anymore. DO you actually need the latch function?
  18. You need an ion panel for the cloud.
  19. You will have a fault on the tamper circuit. You will need to investigate all tampers to find it.
  20. What's the existing Detector?
  21. You will need a different communicator. The wisdom only has a pstn modem. It may work though a converter but isnt guaranteed. But as its obsolete i would consider an upgrade
  22. Which galaxy are you looking at?
  23. fully independant groups nothing beats the galaxy. Everyone has their preferences but the galaxy (when working lol) is a solid panel. The most flexable panel i use is the Acre / vandbilt spc. Plus the ones with built in ethernet allow programming via web interface, firmware upgrades etc. But obviously you will need all new peripherals if you chnage brand.
  24. The fact it stops when bypassed with a resistor removes the cable or rio being the issue. It does point to the sensors but as it's a cross multiple ones I'd say not. What's the power supply like?
