I have purchase from Security Warehouse an ADE Honeywell Easy Set Unit with an ADE Honeywell Accenta Metal Gen 4. The instructions for the Easy Set provide Wiring Details for connection to a G3 and an Accenta 8 Panel, but there is no wiring and program changes for a Gen 4. How is the wiring configured and what program changes are necessary. Our Reference Secware 3 sent 19.45 on the 5th of November.

i'd like to fit an alarm system into my double garage but am not sure which is the right kit to fit. I've installed a Texecom into my house which i'm very happy with so ideally would like to use their kit again if possible. I'd like to keep the house and garage system completely seperate. By my reckoning i need 1 x control pannel with keypad for in the garage 1 x remote keypad for in the house (incase of false alarm activation) 2 x suitable garage PIRs 1 x remote control (for controlling from the car as the doors are remote controlled also) 1 x red LED flashing external light to show alarm is set 1 x external strobe to show alarm has been activated 1 x internal sounder to show alarm has been activated Hope that makes sense? Could you advise on what would be suitable and the cost please.

I have just purchased the rs232 remote programmer but it is saying that I need to enter installer mode to access this. The main reason I bought the pack was because I could not get the installer option on the menu and I have forgotted the installer code. I have already tried a master reset but to no avail. Please could you advise if you are able to assist.

Please could you tell me the replacement for the Scantronic 4600r wireless burglar alarm system? I'm not sure if my control box is faulty (although there is a significant chance that this is the case) or if one of the window/door vipers is faulty, but my system is 13 years old, and I think it may need to be changed.

My system is showing a fault "Telecommand Batt Low" which refers to the 723r Telecmmand remote setting device. I have changed the batteries in the 3 telecommand devices I have however the system continues to show the error. I have moved the system into Engineer mode and it will not now exit. Going through the command set to exit Engineer Mode ie 99 tick, the systems goes through the "checking system bus" bit ok and after agreeing to "exit eng" the unit starts the "Checking System" routine and then flags up the "Telecommand Batt Low" problem again and will exit the Engineer Mode. How do I get out of this, as I say I have put new batteries in the remotes but this does not seem to be recognised by the system.

I have fitted new detector after false alarms. This detector is fine now but other 3 out of 7 are now giving false alarms but these 3 were ok before i fitted the new one. Should I replace other 3 or does this suggest that the new one is not compatible or there is another fault in the system? System is approx 3 yrs old.

Having just been burgled I have purchased a KX15DATM pir from you to replace a failing unit from a different manufacturer. The existing unit is connected via 6 cables - 2x Tamper, 2x Relay and 2x 12v. Do you know what connectors the cables need to be screwed into on the KX15 please? I may also have to change some of the dip switches? The control panel is an Accenta 8.

My current alarm Guardall Rascal Super is broken so needs replacing(we are using 4 programmed zones and chime). I'd like to replace the control unit unit and bellbox but use existing wiring, sensors and internal speaker. I'm looking at the MDT Avanti 8 and AG6 bellbox (current bellbox looks tatty and has no strobe). 1. Is the chime quite loud? We would like to hear if someone enters the house from the other side of the building. 2. The Rascall Super system is 12v and I think the Avanti 8 is 13.8v, will our existing sensors work with the new control unit?

Can you tell me please is it possible to get a wireless sender and receiver to fit inside the VERITAS R8 control panel as we have a garage that was alarmed that way as it is detached from the house and the old wireless sender is not compatible with your system. Also is there a code to open the panel to replace the battery as the installer took all the installation notes with him and he has gone to Australia for 3 months so i cannot contact him.

have just installed my new control panel everthing working fine, just won't let me change the four digit code, have gone through the instructions given in user manual but it still only lets me use the factory set code to set the alarm,could you please give me some advice to correct this problem.

We have an old Scantronic 500r. Reading the specs for an additional PIR (534r) and Vibe sensor (520r) suggests different possible frequencies. I understand the UK is 433 MHz, but the spec for the 534r shows "520REUR-50" as the model number. Given other info on your website I'm worried that the "EUR" and "UK" models are different frequencies. How ca nI check what ours operates at and can we specify that when ordering?
