Thanks, I have always had problems with alarm since installation. I have fitted filters on mains input with no effect. Even when alarm is un-armed it will go off with tamper problems. Switching one particular fluorescent light more or less guaranteed to set it off. I now use electronics starters and this gets over the problem. I have also replaced some of the wiring with screened cable and this has helped greatly. Wiring seems to pick up some interference. Replaced battery recently. Alarm has always had a problem with power outages, causing keypads to lock up. It has to be completely powered down (mains & battery disconnected) to reset main board. I suspect there may have been a later version of the panel which worked better, judging from reaction I got from ADE when I contacted them once. I didn't realise reed switches were so unreliable. I have two go fault recently. Not good for relations with neighbours. I am looking at Texecom Premier alarm with ID+ support. At least might be able to set two triggers before it goes off.

Hi, I am trying to connect an AG6 sounder to an ADE Logic 6 panel (supplied by you) but the instructions supplied by both units are not clear and the AG6 instructions do not even conform to the suppied unit. The Logic 6 panel connections are - strobe - strobe + scb T scb A bell+ D bell- B The sounder AGL connections are - ST- R- SW- V+ V- Can you please advise how these should be connected

I got a speech dialler a few months ago been, working well untill a round 2 weeks ago. it's stopped dialling out or reciving calls. I have plenty of credit phone, and the sim card works in a mobile phone. the antenna is ok no damage that I can see. do you have any ideas on what the problem is?

Hallo, As a potential customer(self employed) from Germany I`m interested in one of your intruder kits Visonic Powermax+. I would like to know if for the time beeing offered kits are working in the 868 Mhz frequency band and have phone (dig/analog ?) interface. Also if 1 (one) piece of a 868 Mhz Powermax+ kit can be delivered to Germany (paying by PayPal). They are respectevely specified with a weight of 0,2 or 6 Kg; how much would cost dispatching+delivery to Germany for each.

Hi, I wish to upgrade an old wired intruder system in a 4 bed detached house. I am looking for a simple to operate basic system so that next door neighbours can monitor it when I am away and gain access easily. I have chosen the components below which look suitable but am not sure about the pir sensors (no pets to worry about) or the sounders (would the basic sounder be adequate in a residential situation or should I go for the louder twin piezo unit?. There are other existing door switches that I shall re-use. Honeywell Logic 6 + additional fobs Yuasa NP2.1-12 battery Honeywel IS215T (or TCE?) (or Quest?) sensors Honeywell AG6 (or AG8?) sounder Can you please advise on compatability and suitability of these components.

please could you help me with a wiring question. I have puchases a 3021a handset which replaces an old creeam coloured videx vx handset. The old handset had 5 connected points at 1,2,5,6 and 7. Before disconnecting I labelled the wires, removed the handset and re-connected at the same points but I have noticed there is no connection 7 on the 3021a model. The new model has connection points 4,6,2,1,3,5,9,8 but no point 7? So now I have an unconnected wire. Could you please provide some help on this.

I am replacing a Karisma plus alarm system in a large house. Unfortunately this randomly goes off & is especially susceptible to fluorescent lights. Requirements for new system:- Be able to identify all items individually and have them displayed with name on RKP eg kitchen window, front door. House has several loops of 4 core (unscreened) cable so can't put items on individual wiring. No windows = 17 no doors = 3 no PIRs = 6 no fire detectors = 2 no RKPs = 3 System should have dialer + speech module or GSM Hopefully system can be set to detect two events before alarming.

I have a number of lighting sensors on our house and one of them seems to have stopped working (they've been in place since '99). Do I need to replace the whole sensor or just the bit inside?

many thanks recieved panic alarm fob today i recieved the 727r/728r i have registered te key fob to the alarm scantronic ion 16....however it does not arm or disarm the alarm i was wonderng if i had not done any thing obvious i also tried to add it as panic alarm that did not work. i was wondering if it could a faulty fob?
