Hi I am looking to install a burglar alarm but I am having difficulty finding what I need. I Have a cat but I guess the pet friendly pirs are a bit unreliable so perimeter on ground floor. So heres what I need 3 x door contacts 2 x PIRs Siren control panel. I want to control it with an app on my smartphone. I have most of the wires in place so want a hard wired or hybrid alarm. I would consider a camera but am wary of it being hacked. Any advise on a suitable system? lee cee dee

I am looking at self monitoring with me sucre, I have the right sensors which were used with my domonial panel. Can I reuse them? Programming let sucre seems to be easier via www. Just want to make sure the used sensors are not locked to the old panel. Thanks for any help

Hi, I can check this myself anyway but just to save some time, does the galaxy 2-20 microtech panel come with an earthbond already connected to the enclosure or will I need to provide my own? cheers Matt

Hi there, I am putting an Accenta gen4 alarm in a large shed and could use a little advice on it please? Is there any particular dual-tech PIR which would well in a shed and lessen false alarms? Keeping the alarm wires away from power cables will be difficult. Will I get away with running them near each other if the cable is screened? I don't see a 2.1Ah battery on the site, is there another that would be suitable for the Accenta box? Any other advice on putting an alarm in a shed would be very wecome. Thank you, Colin.

Hi all. Looking to install a Pyronix Enforcer system in a holiday home in rural France. As it's oversee's some form of remote monitoring would be preferred. My current limitations are as follows: No Phoneline No broadband - although this will change in the next 6 months. Therefore I was looking at the Enforcer Kit with the GSM module. However, I have noticed that there is also the home control version which can be controlled via app. Wanting to future proof the system as much as possible given that I will get broadband at some point I was wondering if I get a standard GSM enforcer kit now, will I be able to upgrade to the home control version via modul…

I put an order on Friday February 20th 2015, paying with credit card via a form managed by PayPal. On Monday 23Th the order was stalled because of an internal (to the company) anti-fraud policy. This policy states that the do not ship goods when the transaction has been made via a non verified paypal account. Note that I did not use any PayPal account to fulfill the payment, but just the paypal credit card payment system. I was advised to open a support ticket, which I did. The first answer to the ticket was that I could cancel the order and then re-do it paying with credit card (!) or via bank transfer. (And the amount I already payed via credit card?) Second time I've had to return an item that is faulty I know this is not you fault, but you make the whole return process absolute agony..five days bouncing messages back to the pathetic helpdesk ticket system and I've been told to return it for a replacement at my cost WHY COULD YOU NOT SAY THIS ON DAY ONE!!!! ...I think I'll have to start going back to the wholesalers little bit more expensive but at least when kit goes wrong you get a replacement straight away with know stress busting hours sent tapping on a laptop...

Dear forum members I have a Jablotron alarm system with magnetic door contact Jablotron JA-81M that has an input for NO and NC contact. Can I integrate the Optex PIR detector in my alarm system. The Optex has an alarm output, 28V 0,1A max. What I want is; if an intruder is detected by the Optex, my alarm is triggered. If this is possible I would like to buy 2 Optex detectors. I am struggling to contact the customer service and it has been more than a week I have been updating my ticket dily without any answer from the customer support. I bought a product and I suspect there might be an issue with the product, customer service have asked me to contact the manufacturer for the same. I believe securitywarehouse should be responsible to sort the faulty product with the manufacturer and not me. Hi, I paid my order with your paypal service, and now you say that my account is not verified and has stalled my order. The problem is that I did not create any account with paypal, I just choose to use 'Express checkout'. Which does not use any paypal account. Hi all, How do you all experience Security Warehouse customer service? 13/11/2013 I placed my first order (£905 GBP) and it shipped fast, no problem so far. 21/11/2013 I created a ticket about a faulty product. Still the problem has not been resolved and Security Warehouse are not responding. 02/12/2013 I placed another order and they shipped fast without problem. So when it comes to selling stuff this goes really quick, but when customers have issues it takes really long. Anyone else experience problems with Security Warehouse way of resolving troubles? Cancelled an order with yourselves on 2nd December and asked for a refund. Support ticket #192764 created on 3rd December, but no reply. Support ticket updated order as cancelled on 5th December. Still no reply, and no refund. Five working days passsed; no reply, no money. I have not received any goods. I would like an explanation as to how long I am expected to wait before you return my money, and why no one has informed me of this in the interim.

Tried enrolling both the kp160 and sr730 to the powermaster pro unit but nothing..... Tried all the methods in the installation procedures but get nothing. I know it did say both units are compatible, but really.... are they?? The rest of the sensors enrolled straight away. Any help please??

After many months of the forum being unaccesable by our community, we are pleased to advise that IT have identified the problems and the forum is back. We will be pleased to see the community active again. Seems the spammers are back first, hopefully the security community will be back as well soon. I see the spammers like to post in this topic, but the whole forum is regularly checked and spamming is mainly maintained by good software.
